The crossing time is 3 hours. On board ormandie Express there are two bars and a café, serving fresh sandwiches, salads, pastries, snacks, cold drinks, teas and coffees. There is comfortable seating and tables in an area dedicated to the café. The bars serve a range of drinks from fine French wines to continental lagers and cocktails. Or bring a packed lunch. Hotel guests may wish to buy a snack for the afternoon. 13:00 Ferry arrives Cherbourg 16:00 Arrive at Vitré The coach stops at the Place de la Gare. Those staying in hotels get off the coach and will be shown to the hotels. 16:30 The coach drives to La Grenouillère Those being hosted meet their host families and are taken home by them. The coach and driver stay at La Grenouillère 16:45 Settle into our accommodation Have a snack before the rehearsal. For those in hotels there are bakeries, sandwich bars near to the hotels. 20:00 General rehearsal at Eglise otre Dame. This is walking distance from the Hotels Supper Saturday 19 May Free morning. An opportunity to visit the Castle, Park or Market. 12:30 Coach arrives at Place de la Gare to pick up the hotel guests and to take them to the Parc des Espositions. 12:45 Coach Leaves Place de la Gare 13:00 Parc des expositions Lunch together. LYMIGTO CHORAL SOCIETY TRIP TO VITRÉ 18-21 MAY 2018 Saturday 19 May - Continued 17:00 General rehearsal at Eglise otre Dame Time to be confirmed 18:30 Return to accommodation for rest, snack and to prepare for Concert. 20:30 Concert at Eglise otre Dame Followed by Supper 22:30 For those that wish the opportunity to visit a special ight at the Museum at Chateau du Vitré, free entry Sunday 20 May 09:30 Coach arrives at Place de la Gare to pick up the hotel guests and to take them to the Eglise de Saint M Herve 09:40 Coach Leaves Place de la Gare 10:00 Mass at Eglise de Saint M Herve. For those who wish to attend. Hosts will bring their guests. The coach driver is invited. 12:00 Salle Communale Aperitif and meal prepared by French choir. Afternoon, games, palets, molkky, cards, bridge or a walk etc. 16:00 Return to hosts and hotels. 19:30 Family meals with all of the Lymington guests and all the choristers of Vitré. List attached. Individual lifts will be provided as per the list. Monday 21 May Between 9:00 & 10:00 Coach picks up hotel guests from Place de la Gare and then returns to La Grenouillère to pick up hosted guests. Departure from Vitré. Packed lunches will be prepared by our hosts.
