We had a total of 35 members and guest for breakfast, sharing conversation s, laughter and of course lots of hugs. What a great way to start your Sunday morning. Thanks to those who came and joined us for breakfast. A few bikes took off for a ride after the meeting. Remember, December is a luncheon we do not have breakfast at Mountain Gate. Luncheon will start at Noon, the price is $16.79 per person. If you would like to donate door prizes, we would appreciate it. Congratulations go to Sharon G. for winning the door prize and to Lynn S. and Patti W. for winning the 50/50 Ice Cream Trail The winner s of the Ice Cream Trail was Hal & Dottie. Congratulations to them both. And thanks to Augie and Lynn for handling the paperwork. We haven t come up with a contest for next year, if anyone has any suggestions please let us know. Dinner Out Our Dinner out for November was the planning meeting, held at our house. We had about 20 people in attendance. Ideas for ice cream, dinner outs, and activities were discussed. There was only one suggestion for an overnight at this time, and that was to go back to Flight 93 to see the Tower of Voices completed with all the chimes in place. If you have a suggestion let us know. We have some suggestions for rides as well: Doug G. suggested a tour of a place that makes Wooden Spoke Wheels. Gravity Hill Burkettsville or Bedford PA Brighten Damn to see Azelias Waterford Cooter s Some of the rides may end up being on a Saturday because of the length of the ride. Activities suggested: Bowling and dinner at Mission BBQ Picnic Ride to Pen Mar on a Saturday We will definitely discuss more after the first of the year, so if you have any suggestions please bring them to the January meeting. Dinner Outs suggested: Buttersburg Parlor House Dunlaps Kings (Falling Waters) Brothers Pizza Hong Kong Restaurant Dutch Country Smokey Bones Round the Clock Diner Gettysburg Family Restaurant Fratelli s in Hampstead Ice Cream Socials suggested: Nutter s Brewsters in Hagerstown Mr. G s Little Red Barn Broom s Bloom Dairy (and to see Sunflowers) Dairy Queen in Gettysburg Mikies on Rt. 11 Tropical Treats in Hanover Trickling Springs Hoffmans Antietam Dairy Ron & Sharon

MD Retreads Newsletter Page 2 As I said these are suggestions, so if you would like to add anything to the suggestion list please do. We would like to announce also that Augie & Lynn will continue to arrange the Ice Cream Socials, and we thank them very much for doing this, it s a tremendous help to us. Also we would like to announce that Allen will continue to do the ride coordinating, so if you would like to plan a ride, see Allen and give him a estimated time and distance that the ride will be so we can put it in the newsletter, to let folks know, so they can decide if it fits into their schedule. And if there are stopping points, and a snack or meal included in the ride. Again thank you Allen for doing this, it s a big help to us.
