The Show and Venue Now in our 14th year and moving to a weekend event we are delighted to introduce Lancaster Insurance as prime sponsor of the show, complimenting their National Classic Car Show at the NEC. This event raises funds for National and Local Charities and is organised by a not-for-profit company formed by Yeo Vale, Sherborne Castles, and Brue Valley Rotary Clubs. This year we will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK and local charities. More than 2,000 interesting and exciting cars are expected to be on display in the magnificent lakeside grounds of the Castle- for the use of which we thank the Owners and Presidents of the show Edward and Maria Wingfield-Digby. Mercedes-Benz is the featured manufacturer this year and there will be historic and classic exhibits including the ex-peter Ustinov 36/220 Tourer. A new feature will be the introduction of an Historic Motorcycle display to be sited on the East front of the castle. Altogether this premier Southern England Classic and Supercar Show will display a mouth-watering array of cars from Veteran, Vintage and Classics to Supercars. There will be historic race and rally cars, some of which will be fired-up, producing awesome noise and Electric cars producing none! Traditional at this event is the arrival of supercar tours in front of the Castle, for 2017 expect to see the arrival of McLarens, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porches and many other famous marques. Sherborne based auctioneers Charterhouse will once more be staging their very popular Classic Vehicle Auction and for the first time plan to add a Supercar Auction as well.
