Detailed Itinerary Day 1: Arrival in Huilo Huilo: the adventure begins Transportation from airport to Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, Chile The journey begins when your group is picked up by our team at the airport, and we go directly to the town of Neltume, in the sector of Panguipulli, which is located 3 miles from Biological Huilo Huilo Reserve and Hotels. The day concludes with arrival at the Reserve, dinner, and an overnight at Nothofagus Hotel & Spa. Day 2: Trekking the Andean Lakes Trail & Mountain Bikes Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, Chile After having breakfast, we take a 4x4 vehicle to the northern part of the Reserve, where our iconic Andean Lagoons Trail is located. The completion of the full 50 km (31 mile) trail normally takes three days, though on this trip we only see one of its most beautiful sections. We will cross through beautiful forests, over rivers, and around lagoons of volcanic origin. After stopping for lunch in middle of nature, we reach a point on the trail where mountain bicycles (includes helmet and gloves) await us, and we continue our descent along a country road in the woods, back to the Reserve. Upon finishing our descent, a 4x4 vehicle will take us back to the hotel.

Day 3: Fuy River Rafting and Canopy XL Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, Chile After having breakfast, a 4x4 vehicle will take us to Fuy River for our next adventure - rafting. Once you have your equipment on (includes neoprene suit, windbreaker, life jackets, helmets and neoprene boots), our experienced whitewater guide will give you a technique and safety talk on the banks of the river. Finally, you will get to ride the turquoise rapids of this wonderful class III-IV river. The adrenalineproducing, down-river descent through a beautiful valley of native forest, on one of the best rafting rivers in Chile, will take approximately one hour and ten minutes. We return to the hotel for lunch and a short rest at Nothofagus Restaurant. In the evening, we have our last activity of the day: the Canopy XL tour. A 4x4 vehicle will take us to the Huilo Huilo Portal, near the Huilo Huilo Falls, to pick up and familiarize ourselves with the specialized equipment that we will use in this activity. The Canopy XL, or Flight of the Condor tour is unique and adrenaline-producing. At 90 meters above the ground and on five, 500 meter ziplines, we see the Patagonian temperate rain forest from the tree-tops, with wonderful views of over 700 meters. It is, without a doubt, a unique and unforgettable experience. In the evening, we recommend that you visit the Lawenko Spa or enjoy a tasty beer at our very own Petermann Brewery. Finally, enjoy your last dinner in the Reserve, with accommodation in Nothofagus Hotel. Día 4: Departure Transportation from Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve to airport. After a restful night, have breakfast and begin your return to the airport. Rafting Río Fuy Canopy XL

Accommodation Nothofagus Hotel In the midst of the temperate rainforest, as if it had come from some unknown kingdom, a tree extends its branches towards the sky and Nothofagus emerges. A magnificent building constructed with noble materials where sensations, shapes, textures and sounds can be experienced that will bring us back to the simplicity of nature. Climate The Patagonian Temperate Rainforest is located in Chilean territory, between 38 30 S and 55 30 S latitudes, east of the Andes Mountain range. It is known for its abundant, year-round precipitation and for its temperate summers (with temperatures reaching 30 C/86 F). This rainy climate is due to the humidity carried by the anticyclonic winds from the South Pacific, which then condenses due to the cold coastal currents of Humboldt. The humidity falls as rain when it enters the continent, and then dissipates when it reaches the Andes upon colliding with the dry winds that come from the Argentinian Patagonia region. Physical Demand The Huilo Huilo Multi-Adventure Program combines different disciplines and outdoor sports such as mountain biking, trekking, rafting and zip-line/canopy. Day 2 of the program requires the greatest physical effort. Trekking activities (10 km) and mountain bike (6 kilometers) are performed on rocky terrain with steep slopes up and down, by trail or road in the middle the forest. The rafting activity is active and challenging, on category III / IV rapids. The team constantly paddles to correct direction, and navigation time is approximately 2 hours, throughout the entirety of which you will have contact with water. The zip-line/ canopy activity requires no particular physical condition except a maximum weight of 100 kilos (220 lb.) to perform the activity. Physical fitness and health is required for the entire program. If you have any special conditions that could be an impediment, consult before making your booking to avoid inconveniences. What You Shouldn t Forget It is very important to come prepared for winter and summer in all trips. It is important to bring a comfortable backpack for trekking (minimum 3 liters/ 1 gallon), trekking shoes, windbreaker, parka, comfortable to walking shorts, swimsuit, camera, headlamp, sunscreen, sunglasses, enough spare clothes in case of rain, hat, and / or bandana. It is important to bring cash if you want to buy souvenirs. Many amenities have enabled credit card payment system, but there are no ATMs to withdraw money in case you need to buy local crafts.
