1887 Northumberland House re-opens as the Hotel Victoria

1940 Northumberland House traded as The Victoria Hotel until 1940. It was then requisitioned by the War Office and occupied by the Crown. The doors of 8 Northumberland remained closed to the public for 70 years. HOtel Victoria CLOSES
