Produced by Rev Hon Fred Nile assisted by Kay Allen March 2017 1. ALMIGHTY GOD S SACRED GIFT OF LIFE - NO EUTHANASIA! Our March issue of the Family World News will help mobilise opposition to the proposed Euthanasia Bills in New South Wales and Victoria. Inspite of strong opposition in the NSW Parliament which defeated previous Euthanasia Bills a group of Upper House members are preparing a new euthanasia Bill. The draft Bill is being finalised by the NSW Parliamentary Counsel so that it can be released for public discussion in March 2017. The NSW members promoting this Euthanasia Bill include ALP member Linda Voltz MLC, Nationals member -Trevor Khan, Greens - Mehreen Faruqi MLC, Liberal - Lee Evans MP and Independent for Sydney Alex Greenwich MP. The former Coalition Premier Mike Baird and ALP Leader Luke Foley stated they are personally opposed to changing the current NSW law and would not vote for any change. The excellent articles in this issue of the Family World News highlight the dangers of legalising Euthanasia and why we must oppose any new Euthanasia Bills in NSW and Victoria Write to the sponsors of this new Bill and express your opposition with reasons. 2. GODS PLAN FOR MARRIGE BETWEEN A MALE AND A FEMALE NOT TWO MALES OR TWO FEMALES We need to protect Gods plan for marriage as the ALP and Greens have blocked the proposed plebiscites in the Senate as they try to force a free vote in the Federal Parliament. 3. MARRIAGE AND FAMILY FESTIVAL Thousands of Christians crowd the Festival participants on the Festival marriage couples on Rev Fred and Silvana Nero-Nile International Convention Centre, Convention stage steps of Sydney Opera House with Aboriginal leader Darling Harbour, Dinner Pastor Peter at Leaders Dinner The Chinese Christian Church have launched a powerful campaign in support of traditional marriage and held a successful Festival for Marriage and the Family at Darling Harbour with 2000 delegates on Saturday 11 th February 2017. 1

The Festival concluded with a two day Consultation organised by the Marriage Alliance at the Hotel Stamford Airport with delegates from China, Korea, Australia and USA. Marriage and Family Festival, Saturday 11 February 2017, ICC Stadium, Darling Harbour The Chinese Christian churches in Sydney mobilized their members to support traditional marriage and the family in their campaign to oppose same-sex homosexual so-called marriage (SSM). They focused their campaign in the Marriage and Family Festival at Darling Harbour on Saturday 11 February 2017, with a well-planned marriage event where a large number of Christians renewed their marriage vows whilst wearing their wedding dresses and tuxedo suits (Refer photograph). On Sunday 12 February 2017, this concluded with an international Christian leadership Consultation. This was organised by the Asian Alliance on the theme Family Foundation Future, where I was able to take part with Lyle Shelton of ACL. They adopted a strategy for 2018: One man, one woman; One husband, one wife; One life, one generation; One heart, one mind The Chinese Christian Church leadership invited other Christian leaders and churches to be involved from all over Australia, including Aboriginal Christian pastors. I was invited to give the opening address at the Festival, but had to send a video message as I was already leading our important Christian Democratic Party meetings on the same day, covering CDP candidates and restructure. We thank God for the zeal and faith of our Chinese Christian brothers and sisters and their Bible-based pastors, especially Rev Peter Wong. 4. SYDNEY HOLY CITY MARCH This Annual Sydney Holy City March will be held on Sunday 12 th March 2017. Christians from all churches will assemble in Belmore Park near Central Railway Station. Members will follow the route from Belmore Park to Elizabeth Street to Martin Place. The march will conclude with a Prayer Concert for all Nations from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Please bring a large group from your Church, town, suburb etc, as we witness for Jesus Christ and help make Sydney a Holy City and up hold Christian values, Marriage and Family. 2

Please Refer Holy City March poster attached and in the March issue of the Family World News. 3

5. HONOURING OUR CHRISTIAN HERITAGE Celebrating the 229 th Anniversary of the first Church Service on Australian soil at 1 pm on Friday 3 February 2017 Captain Philip, after successfully bringing the First Fleet safely into Port Jackson, was appointed Governor of New South Wales which covered the whole of the known Australia. As soon as the sailors, soldiers and convicts were put ashore and tents erected, Governor Philip authorised the First Fleet Chaplain, Rev Richard Johnson, to conduct the first Christian Church Service on Australian soil. Everyone was ordered to attend - clean and in uniform - on Sunday 3 February1788. Chaplain Johnson preached on Psalm 116. The actual location is identified by a large stone monument at the corner of the modern streets, Bligh and Hunter Streets Sydney, just up from Sydney Harbour Circular Quay, in view from the Opera House. The theme of this 2017 historic commemoration service was, The Bible s Impact on the Colony and Australia. The service was organized by the Australian Christian Nation Association (ACNA) under the leadership of Greg Whitehead, ACNA Heritage Convenor. We thank the following persons for taking part in this service: Tom Howard; Keith Getty; Ingleburn RSL Pipe Band; Salvation Army Veterans Band; Rev Ross Poulton; Jon Fearon President of the First Fleeters; Philip Benwell Chairman Australian Monarchist League; Robyn Butt Coordinator Bible Reading Marathon in Sydney; Rev Stan Colefax; and main speaker Rev Daniel Willis CEO Australian Christian Heritage and former CEO of the Bible Society. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP INAUGURATION ON 20 TH JANUARY 2017 I was very pleased to receive our Invitation to President Trump s Inauguration but unfortunately our USA visas were not approved until 27 th January 2017 with an apology and FIVE YEAR VISAS! Silvana and I still plan to visit President Trump in April 2017. Please pray for President Trump as he faces protests and strident criticism by the media, Democratic Party, etc. President Trump has appointed strong Christians to important positions to uphold pro-life policies, etc. 4

LUNA NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS As a result of our growing population of Asians, such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, etc, the Lunar New Year has become a big event in Sydney with special celebrations in Sydney; Darling Harbour; Bankstown; Fairfield Showground; Sydney suburban shopping centers, etc. 5

The Lunar New Year celebrations at the Fairfield Showground involved thousands of enthusiastic supporters in recognizing the Year of the Red Rooster. Many of the Vietnamese escaped Vietnam as Christian refugees who strongly opposed communism and support our Australian democracy and way of life. Their Lunar New Year festival included the singing of the Australian National Anthem and Vietnamese National Anthem, followed by addresses by Dr Thang-Ha, President of the Vietnamese community; Mayor of Fairfield City Council Frank Cabone; Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells; Mr. Chris Hayes MP; Hon Ray Williams MP and Hon Luke Foley MP. HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! Silvana welcomes Chinese Chinese dancers Rev Fred Nile and guests at visitors with New Year decorations Vietnamese New Year celebration 9. FEDERAL POLICIES IN TURMOIL Tony Abbott has issued a new book Making Australia Right with a challenge to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to review his policies especially: 1. Cut Immigration 2. Slash Spending 3. Dump Renewables The media have seen this as an attempt by Tony Abbott to regain his position as Prime Minister so the Liberal National Party can win the next Federal election. The resignation of Senator Cory Bernardi from the Liberal Party has also caused controversy as he launches his own Political Party Pauline Hanson s One Nation Party is also increasing its support in Queensland/Western Australia. Our Christian Democratic Party is preparing for the next NSW State Election and the next Federal Election in 2019 and is confident of making a big impact as The conservative alternative 6

The appointment of our new NSW State Manager Craig Hall will also help our election preparation. Please continue to pray for Paul Green and myself as we serve our Lord Jesus Christ and the families of NSW in the NSW Upper house as we daily face many new challenges and new issues. Thank you for your prayerful support and May the Lord richly bless you Kind Regards Rev Hon Fred Nile MLC (Federal CDP President) COMING EVENTS Saturday 11 th March 2017: 7pm Sydney Holy City Convention - 2B Factory Street, Granville with Guest Speaker Pastor Andrew Harper on National Worship for Revival Sydney.
