The bus leaves the Wal-Mart parking lot in Charlottetown at 6:00 am with pickup in Borden, Aulac, Salisbury, Lincoln, and Woodstock. Transfers are provided from Dartmouth, Truro, and Saint John. Your tour director will make the trip pass with on-board entertainment and games. Arrive at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saint - Hyacinthe at approximately 6:00 pm. Tonight, enjoy a group dinner at Restaurant Normandin (included) near the hotel with free time to relax for the evening. Friday, May 26 th Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. We load your luggage on the coach and depart at 8:00 am for scenic St. Jacobs, Ontario with rest stops and lunch along the way. Arrive at your host hotel, the Homewood Suites in St. Jacobs at approximately 4:00 pm. After we freshen up you will have time to enjoy dinner on your own. Shop at the Outlet Mall next to the hotel. Saturday, May 27 th Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. This morning we visit the St. Jacobs Farmer s Market. Every week, hundreds of vendors bring you Ontario's farm-fresh foods, crafts, imported goods and most things imaginable, plus amazing ready-to-eat foods, all in a variety of buildings and outdoors too. Bring your appetite! This afternoon, we meet our Step-On Guide for an Old Order Mennonite tour. The tour will take us through the Old Order farming area including a visit to a Mennonite farm. We stop outside an Old Order school and a meetinghouse. Also, we visit the village of West Montrose where we visit an Old Order General Store and walk through Ontario's only covered bridge. Our tour ends with a visit to a Mennonite Farmer. This evening we enjoy an included buffet dinner at Stone Crock Restaurant in St. Jacobs followed by the theatre show, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat at Drayton Festival Theatre. Journey back to the ancient land of Canaan for an enchanting story of faith and forgiveness as the biblical tale of Joseph is chronicled with sparkling wit, irreverence, and imagination. When Joseph's father gives him a fabulous coat of many colors, his 11 jealous brothers hatch a vicious scheme to sell him into slavery. Sunday, May 28 th Monday, May 29 th Tuesday, May 30 th Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. This morning we check out and travel to the Niagara region. We stop first in Niagara-on-the-Lake and visit Château des Charmes for a Wine Growing 101 lesson including a tasting. This winery was founded in 1978 by Paul Bosc, a fifth-generation French winegrower. Paul and his young family arrived in Niagara in the 1960 s with the idea that growing our own grapes was the best way to make fine wine. This afternoon we have free time to explore and have lunch at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Later this afternoon we check-in to the Courtyard by Marriott in Niagara Falls. Enjoy some free time before dinner. Join us at 5:00 pm for a group dinner at the Skylon Tower (included). Here you will enjoy your meal 775 feet above the falls, an unforgettable experience. This also includes your Ride-To-The-Top of the tower and the indoor/outdoor observation decks. Rest of the evening is free to explore. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. This morning we take part in a Journey Behind the Falls as well as a Hornblower Cruise to the base of the Falls. You may get a little wet! Your afternoon is free to explore Clifton Hill. Enjoy the many attractions and take a ride on the Niagara Skywheel (not Included) for a view of the falls. This evening, experience a buffet dinner along with the mystery and art of illusion show with Greg Frewin, one of the most decorated magicians in the world. Join us for the evening performance of our Las Vegas Style Magical Revue featuring spectacular appearances by our rare and majestic tigers. Your imagination will be captivated and you will be amazed beyond belief. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. We check out and travel to the 1000 Islands. Stop for rest breaks and lunch along the way. Arrive at your host hotel, the Holiday Inn Express Gananoque, 1000 Islands at approximately 2:00 pm. Enjoy free time to explore before departing for the 30-minute transfer to Kingston for a 1000 Islands Dinner Cruise at departing at 6:30 pm. The Sunset Dinner Cruise is the premiere dining experience in the 1000 Islands. Enjoy a four-course meal on the Island Star, and enjoy live entertainment, all on a spectacular sunset cruise. Wednesday, May 31 st Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning we check out and depart for Quebec City. We stop for rest breaks and lunch along the way. This afternoon, we check in to your hotel Le Dauphin Quebec at approximately 3:00 pm. Once settled, we will transfer you to Old Quebec for free time to explore the shops and stroll the cobbled stone streets. Have dinner at a local restaurant in Old Quebec. A shuttle will transfer the group back to the hotel and to Les Galleries de la Capitale for optional shopping near the hotel.
Thursday, June 1 st Friday, June 2 nd Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning we have a Tour of Quebec City including Saint Anne de Beaupre. The Basilica was built to replace the first Basilica that was destroyed by fire on March 29, 1922. An ensemble of 240 stained-glass windows adorns the Basilica, and the central vault is completely covered with a series of mosaic dedicated to Saint Anne. Next, we take a walkabout Quebec's Old Town - the only North American fortified city north of Mexico whose walls still exist. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985, as the "Historic District of Old Quebec". Founded in the early 17th century by French explorer Samuel de Champlain, la vielle capitale celebrates its 400th anniversary in 2008 and its history shows. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Old Quebec (not included). Rest of the afternoon is free to explore on your own. Transfers available to the hotel or shopping this afternoon. Tonight, meet in the hotel lobby to depart for a farewell dinner at Buffet des Continents (included) in Quebec City. This restaurant features a buffet of food from around the world.
