Bartlesville, OK July 7-9 Bartlesville is located 45 miles north of Tulsa, OK putting it within 2 ½ hours of Oklahoma City, OK: Wichita, KS and Fayetteville, AR. Bartlesville is less than three hours from Springfield, MO, less than four hours from Kansas City and little over five hours from Dallas, TX. Obviously, we are in the center of some of the best youth basketball in America and expect to draw quality teams from at least four states. We are looking forward to a wonderful tournament. Our games are played in area High School, Middle School and College gyms. Excellent facilities, officials, tournament management and warm hospitality will combine to produce a great event. Team awards will be given to 1 st place. Individual awards will be given to all players on the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place teams. Each team will play at least five games and many will play more. Bartlesville is known as the City of Legends from its days as an oil boom town where many fortunes and two major oil companies (Phillips Petroleum and Cities Service) were born. Bartlesville has many lodging facilities, including bed & breakfasts, budget motels, full-service hotels, RV parks and campgrounds. Bartlesville has over 550 hotels rooms and boasts over 80 eating establishments ranging from fast food to fine restaurants. Bartlesville also has three golf courses, lighted public tennis courts, three public swimming pools, a city-wide biking-jogging-hiking-running (11 miles) pathway, two movie theatres with 10 screens, an amusement park for small children and a go-cart raceway. Varied shopping opportunities are available with a vibrant downtown, the Washington Park Mall and a large variety of antique and specialty shops. Cultural attractions include the Frank Phillips Mansion (home of Phillips 66 co-founder), the Woolaroc Ranch Museum and Wildlife Preserve, the Price Tower Arts Center, the Tom Mix Museum and the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center.
