THE CORPORATION OF LOYALIST TOWNSHIP By-law 2013-013 A By-law to Provide for Erection of s and to repeal By-law 2012-066 WHEREAS The Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter H.8, Section 137 authorizes the Council of a municipality to pass by-laws to provide for the erection of stop signs at intersections on highways under its jurisdiction; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of Loyalist Township adopted By-law 2010-066 to provide for the erection of stop signs at intersections on highways under its jurisdiction; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of Loyalist Township deems it necessary to erect additional stop signs on Amherst Drive at Amy Lyn Drive in Amherstview, former geographic Ernestown, now in Loyalist Township; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of Loyalist Township enacts as follows: 1. That traffic be controlled by erecting stop signs at the locations set out in Schedule A attached to and forming part of this by-law. 2. That By-law 2012-066 and any other by-laws or portions thereof conflicting with this by-law are hereby repealed. 3. This by-law shall not come into effect until the necessary signs have been erected.
