This project may appeal to clubs who are interested in doing more projects in their local community. The purpose of the exhibition is to raise both awareness and funds in support of Australia's post polio community. However, it could provide a chance for clubs to publicise Rotary s End Polio Now campaign and possibly raise some funds through donations. Further details are available at: http://rotary9830.org.au/infofiles/ news/polioaustralia-touchedbypolio.pdf If your club is interested please contact Mary-ann Liethof by 5 th October on email: mary-ann@polioaustralia.org.au Sound Bite of Rotary Information: "On 1 July 1989 for the first time world-wide, women could legally join a Rotary club. Less formality and protocol JClub joke and fines, need to be able to screen suitability, some unfavourable fines while eating a meal. Do we need the Toast and the National Anthem? OXYMORONS 25. Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle? 26. Why do they call it a TV set when you only have one? 27. Christmas - What other time of the year do you sit in front of a dead tree and eat candy out of your socks? 28. Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway? I dunno, why do we?
