How the Mozo Experts Choice awards are determined For the standard category the assumed spend level was $18,000 per annum, the average annual spend on a credit card in Australia (rounded to the nearest $1,000) according to RBA statistics. For the premium category the assumed spend was $60,000 as these credit cards are targeted towards higher income earners who are likely to be able to spend more using credit cards. The Premium category assessed all gold and platinum credit cards, while the Standard category considered all other credit cards. Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Credit Cards are awarded in the following categories and based on the following methodology: 1) Credit Card Aim: To identify the rewards credit cards which give the best reward for a person spending $18,000 per annum.
