2017 UC 4-H Family Camp Policies and Procedures 4-H Code of Conduct 1. The 4-H Code of Conduct signed by each 4-H Member and Adult Volunteer is in full force during 4-H Family Camp. 2. 4-H ers shall show respect for the property, material and facilities used (including 4-H property) and assume financial responsibility for any damages they cause. 3. Parents or Guardians (or their 4-H club leader who is supervising them) are responsible for any Medications for their 4-H ers. 4. Use and/or possession of any drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, knives and other items deemed dangerous is strictly forbidden. Violation of this policy can result in immediate dismissal from Family camp and can include notification to the local authorities. 5. Gambling and/or betting are prohibited by 4-H. 6. DRESS CODE: Proper dress is required at all times for all participants in Family Camp. All shirts MUST have sleeves. NOT PERMITTED: Open toed shoes, bikinis, cut off shorts, saggy pants, tank tops, see through tops and shirts with offensive language or graphics. 7. All participants must participate in scheduled activities except in the case of illness or injury. 8. What to Pack or Not to Pack Theme Meals: Hawaiian Dinner, Camp Pride Breakfast, Crazy Hat Lunch, Madagascar s Afro Circus Dinner, Pajamas Breakfast, Club Pride Lunch Money for Falcon s Nest: Falcon s Nest will be selling snacks, drinks & other items in the afternoon during Camper s Choice. Medications: Parents or Guardians (4-H leader from their own club is acceptable) will be responsible for their own child s medications. Dress Code: Proper dress is required at all times for all participants in the 4-H Family Camp Program. Not Permitted at Camp: Open-toed shoes, see-through tops, short-shorts, tank-tops, shirts with offensive language or graphics and pants that don t stay up. All shirts MUST have sleeves with high neckline (like tee shirts). DO NOT BRING: Knives, Guns, Alcohol, Drugs or Any Animals (unless it is a service dog). Do not bring items that are valuable or irreplaceable. Family Camp is an informal atmosphere, which does not lend itself to protection of valuable items.
