SKY S THE LIMIT Commonwealth Stadium has hosted a broad range of local and world-class spectator events from world cups to iconic concerts and everything in between. Recent notable events hosted at Commonwealth Stadium include the 2015 FIFA Women s World Cup (and opening ceremonies), Beyoncé, One Direction, Metallica, the Canadian Football League (CFL) Grey Cup Championship, Nitro Circus and more. The stadium is also home to the Edmonton Eskimos, professional football team (CFL). With a total stadium seating capacity of 56,400 and just minutes from the city centre, this 42-acre complex promises an unforgettable experience for everyone. 2

COMMONWEALTH STADIUM LOCATION & ADAPTABILITY Situated on the edge of downtown Edmonton, Commonwealth Stadium s central location is ideal for spectators from any part of the city and capital region. With the Stadium Station LRT, Park and Ride capabilities and nearly 800 on-site parking stalls, there is enough capacity to efficiently move spectators to and from events. The stadium also offers several load-in and load-out options for both the floor level and concourse areas. FIELD FACTS 2 Star artificial turf, meeting FIFA s highest standards for play. The lines are painted on the playing surface, allowing for an easy transition to accommodate multiple sports, including football, rugby and soccer. CLARKE STADIUM Located south-west of Commonwealth Stadium, Clarke Stadium is the original home of the Edmonton Eskimos. This facility is currently home to a professional soccer team (FC Edmonton), as well as numerous amateur sport clubs. Over the years, Clarke Stadium has also hosted concerts by the Tragically Hip, Midnight Oil and Dolly Parton. Clarke Stadium offers: FieldTurf Revolution MP 40 artificial turf (FIFA 2 Star Certified) with sewn in soccer lines Seating for 5,000 and a field capacity of 10,000 Four dressing rooms Press Box and public address system Field lighting Scoreboard Concession Areas 7

COMMONWEALTH COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTRE The latest version of Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre opened in 2012 and offers a variety of amenities to support sporting events, meetings, recreation, conferences and concerts. 8

HOSTING AREAS/MEETING & MULTIPURPOSE ROOMS: Five meeting rooms on Level 2 and two multipurpose rooms on Level 3 that overlook the Commonwealth Stadium field Igloo Room overlooks the field and has capacity for event hosting and social area. It also has a separate exterior entrance Gymnasium has a seating capacity of 500 for special events and banquets 9

RECREATION CENTRE AMENITIES INCLUDE: FIELD HOUSE (65 yards x 65 yards) Includes an indoor artificial turf surface that amounts to half of a football field, six change rooms and storage areas. Turf can be sectioned off into north and south with a divider curtain. GYMNASIUM Has hardwood floor with markings for multiple sports and retractable bleachers with seating for 200. Floor covering turns this space into a wonderful hosting space for a seated or standing event. FITNESS CENTRE Offers a full range of machines and free weight options, as well as state of the art cardio studios. There is also a running track (250m) that circles the second level of the Field House. AQUATIC CENTRE Consists of a 25m four-lane salt water pool, leisure pool, waterslide, whirlpool and steam room. 10
