Motion was seconded by Russ Brindley. Vote taken and motion accepted. Treasurer s Report: by Barbara Kroll: The balance of our account as of the last statement is $1,133.48 (Check for Dogs for the Deaf cleared) not counting cash collected this weekend. Motion made to accept the treasurer's report by Julie Bourque and seconded by Theresa Redgrave. Vote taken motion accepted. Committee Reports: The Sunshine Report was given by Sally Brennan. She apologized for any she missed since she spent a lot of time out of town. She also was unaware that Richard Garcia's Mother had passed and asked members to let her know via email when something like this happens so she can send cards. There were no other committee reports. 2

Old Business: No old business was discussed. New Business: Door prizes for the Rally were discussed and it was decided that the two items donated (one from John & Dora and one from Dick & Kathy) be used as well as Two $25 Gift Certificates from Wal-Mart! In other Rally Business John said that the Bloodmobile was all set up for the Eustis Fall Rally. He also requested that someone else please volunteer to do the Blood Drives since he had been doing them for the last 6 years. Many thanks to John for all his work in making the Blood Drives a huge success. Truly the meaning of a Good Samaritan! Mention was also made by Russ Brindley that paperwork needed to be mailed to Director Joe if we plan on having the Popcorn Sales. Jerry said he would take care of it! For the Good of the Club: More people are contributing to the Newsletter and Granger and Sam mentioned that they weren't getting it. Kathy will check on email dodo to make sure all email addresses are correct. Jerry thanked Theresa and Granger for the help they gave Wagonmasters John and Dora. They did all the decorating in the Hall for the German Oktoberfest! A wonderful time was had by all! Great Food, Great Fun and Great Friends always make a great time! John and Dora were thanked for the great job they did as Wagonmasters! 50/50 held this campout was won by Bill Smith! Boner Award Nominees: Phil McKenna while getting his motor home out of the storage lot clipped another RV and damaged one of his doors. Nancy told him to wait for her, but he said, no he could take care of it! NOT! Faye Pillows was also nominated by Lois Smock! She forgot to pack her undies! Faye won by a landslide! A request was made by Jerry to close the meeting. Motion made and passed! Meeting Adjourned! Respectfully submitted by Kathy Brassard Secretary 3

TRAVELS AND CHATTER I would like to thank all that came out to our last campout. I would like to say thanks to all of you that let Dora play beanbag baseball with her wheelchair. I don't get that many smiles out of her lately, but when she was able to throw that beanbag thru that hole the smile was something to make tears come to my eyes. Thanks for being a caring and a loving group John I had an awesome two weeks in Illinois with my Great Granddaughter Evelyn Faye! She was born Sept. 2nd and I got up there on the 20th of Sept and had a wonderful time with her, my daughter (and son-inlaw) and granddaughters! Evie was 4 lbs 10 ounces and was 18 1/2 long! She s a very good baby and my granddaughter Kristy is thrilled with her. Here s a few pictures of Evie, Kristy and my daughter Brenda! Here s another handy thing to know! NEVER BUY JEWELERY CLEANER AGAIN! 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon baking soda 1 tablespoon dish detergent 1 cup water 1 piece aluminum foil 4

Directions: 1. Heat water in the microwave for 1 or 2 minutes. 2. Cut a piece of aluminum foil that roughly covers the bottom of a small bowl (like a cereal bowl). 3. Pour hot water into bowl. Place salt, soda, and dishwashing liquid into bowl. Place jewelry on top of foil and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse jewelry in cool water and dry jewelry completely with soft cloth. Discard solution after use and make a new batch next time. 4. According to wire-sculpture.com, "this works well for gold-filled, brass, German (nickel) silver, and sterling silver. This even works with freshwater pearls, shell cameos and mother of pearl with no problem." Hope everyone has a great time at the Rally! We ll be playing trains and enjoying train friends!
