SCMC 2015 ANNUAL DINNER MEETING The SCMC Annual Dinner Meeting was held January 10, 2015, at Café Unique, in Cocoa Village. Forty one members attended, and while enjoying our unique surroundings, purchasing our 50/50 raffle tickets, and voting for our Favorite Event in 2014, an array of appetizers were enjoyed. A lovely dinner entrée was served to each, as selections of a chicken, seafood, or pasta dinner were previously reserved. Throughout the evening raffle ticket numbers were called out and many members went home with a Miata related doorprize. After dinner the winning 50/50 ticket was drawn and the prize money of $45 was awarded to our Club founder, Chet Young. Members also voted on their favorite event of the year, where Jim Linhares & Norm LaCroux won for their annual pool party held each summer. Pam and Tony Spinella won for the Most Events hosted in 2014. After dinner was cleared, the Annual Meeting began. New officers and new chairpersons were announced for 2015. (See page 2) Peggy Bretz proposed three (3) motions that were voted on and passed. Bunnie Dow presented the SCMC with a certificate from Toy for Tots for our participation in the Club s first annual Toys for Tots Drive-Out. Chet Young was able to be with us this year, and as our founder, he spoke of the Club s growth. Thanks to all who attended.
