22 NOV 2018 Nairobi Start Safari: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Kenya (Arrival Location) Nairobi, Kenya This is one of the main gateways to East Africa and gives you access not only to Kenya, but also Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. It also provides access to the rainforest of Central Africa and its forest elephants and lowland gorillas. Most itineraries require an overnight in Nairobi, and one of the best places to stay is the suburb of Karen where you can also visit the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Manor or the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage during feeding time in the afternoon. House of Waine Nestled in the leafy surrounds of Karen Forest in the outskirts of Nairobi, is the elegant House of Waine - a fine establishment that provides its guests with a tranquil atmosphere and superb accommodation. House of Waine s 11 suites are individually styled and feature a large marble en-suite bathroom (with a separate shower and bath), satellite television, personal bar and mini safe. The menu is varied and reflects the diversity to be found in Nairobi today. Meals can be taken in several locations throughout the property making each meal a unique dining experience. Must-see attractions that can be arranged for an additional cost are a visit to the Matbronze Art Gallery and Foundry, the Giraffe Centre - to hand feed giraffes and for nature walks, the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Sanctuary - where you can interact with (and perhaps adopt) elephants and rhinos, as well as the renowned Nairobi National Park. Included Accommodation, meals according to room basis, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi Amenities Cell Phone Coverage, Ensuite Bathrooms, Hairdryer, Pool, Wi-Fi Available at an Additional Cost Drinks and beverages, laundry, Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen Museum, Craft Center Shopping 23 NOV 2018-25 NOV 2018 Amboseli

Nairobi Amboseli Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (1 hour) Amboseli, Kenya Have you ever dreamed of waking up in your safari tent, and seeing the snows of Kilimanjaro from your bed? Amboseli National Park is where you can do just that. The camps we use are set on large private reserves that lie adjacent to the national park and allow you to do non-park activities such as walking safaris, night drives, and visits to Maasai communities and group ranches. You can also take game drives inside the park for views of some of the biggest bull elephants you have ever seen, all framed by Kilimanjaro in the background. Satao Elerai Satao Elerai Camp is located in a quiet, unspoiled, unique setting on a 5000-acre private conservation area seven miles southeast of Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The camp looks down onto the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mt. Kilimanjaro in the other direction. Satao Elerai has five lodge-style suite rooms and twelve deluxe mountain facing tents, both designed to ensure that your stay will be in complete luxury. Large, comfortable beds and quality linen combine to ensure that you will sleep through the night in total comfort in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom with solar hot showers and a toilet with a view. Raised cedar-wood floors, acacia poles and makuti (thatch) roofing complement the surrounding environment. Large balconies with relaxing day beds combine to offer the perfect place to lie as you take in the ambiance when relaxing. The elegantly furnished suite rooms have large sliding doors that open out onto your own private veranda overlooking the plains below and Amboseli National Park. Elephants, giraffe s and zebra are seen most days from the comfort of your room. Designed using natural rock and acacia wood, the bathrooms have their own naturally crafted bathtub and shower which is unique to Elerai. One of the biggest advantages of Satao Elerai Camp is that it is located on its own private conservation area: Clients have the chance to view wildlife in private surroundings. In addition, we also offer clients the chance to enjoy spectacular bush sundowners, night game drives and game walks on the conservancy, activities that are not available to the lodges located within the park. Included Accommodation, meals, house soft drinks, beer & wines, transportation to cultural visit (fee to Village to be paid directly), two extended shared game drives per day, guided walks, one bush sundowner, shared night game drive on conservancy, shared Amboseli airstrip transfers, conservation and park fees Amenities Ensuite Bathrooms, Hairdryer, Local Drinks Included, Recharge Facilities Available at an Additional Cost Champagne, spirits & luxury wines, laundry, exclusive use of vehicle (subject to availability)

26 NOV 2018-28 NOV 2018 Mt. Kenya/Laikipia Amboseli Nairobi Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (45 minutes) Nairobi Mt. Kenya/Laikipia Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (1 hour, 5 minutes) Mt. Kenya/Laikipia, Kenya This is an up and coming wildlife area of Kenya. The Laikipia National Park was created on November 8, 2011 and is a very new national park. It is an open savanna ecosystem that supports a wide diversity of species, from the endangered Grevy s zebra and elephant to the patas monkey, Somali ostrich, and Beisa oryx. It is also central to many surrounding private ranches such as the Ol Pejeta Ranch and the Segera Ranch, where you can enjoy safaris unaffected by national park restrictions. Lewa Safari Camp Lewa Safari Camp is based within the private 65,000-acre wildlife conservancy of the Lewa Wilderness Trust in the Laikipia region. The conservancy is home to about 10 percent of Kenya's black rhino population, and the single largest population of Grevy's zebra in the world. Lewa re-invests all the profits generated from tourism (including profits from Lewa Safari Camp) into its core programs. Each of the 12 tents has a thatched roof, verandah and full en-suite bathroom. The central areas have exquisite gardens with a large sunny verandah and swimming pool to enjoy during the day, and cozy log fires in the lounge and dining room for the more chilly evenings. Activities include escorted game viewing drives in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, escorted horseback rides amongst the plains animals, and local walks. You can learn to read animal spoor and approach game on foot for exciting pictures. The four-wheel-drive safari vehicles are open-sided with an overhead canvas awning to provide shade. There is a prehistoric site on the ranch where rough-hewn Acheulian hand axes can be found scattered on the ground, perhaps a half million years old. There is also a picturesque waterfall on the property, where you can ramble among the rocks or enjoy a relaxing afternoon reading or bird watching. For guests interested in cultural encounters, there are two optional activities to consider. The conservancy borders the Samburu community conservancies of Tassia and Il Ngwesi in the arid lowlands of the north, and many of the staff at Lewa Safari Camp come from this area. Lewa Safari Camp offers visits to neighboring local Samburu homesteads. Additionally, guests who are making donations to the Lewa Education Program can visit schools during term time. Included Accommodation, meals, house soft drinks, beers, wines & selected spirits, shared scheduled day & night game drives, off-road game viewing, guided bush walks, bush picnics & sundowners, limited laundry, shared Lewa

airstrip transfers, Lewa Conservancy Fees Amenities Cell Phone Coverage, Ensuite Bathrooms, Laundry Included, Local Drinks Included, Pool, Recharge Facilities, Wi-Fi Available at an Additional Cost Luxury wines & spirits, visit to Ngare Ndare Forest, visit to Il'Ngwesi cultural boma (minimum 2 guests), horse rides, camel rides, massage and spa treatments, exclusive use of vehicle (subject to availability), late departures (check out time remains 10:00am), curio shop items, scenic helicopter tours 29 NOV 2018-1 DEC 2018 Masai Mara Mt. Kenya/Laikipia Masai Mara Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (1 hour, 25 minutes) Masai Mara, Kenya There is a very good reason the Masai Mara is such a popular safari destination. It is hands down the best place to see wildlife in Kenya. It is also stunning. The Mara River winds through vast, open short-grass plains and the Oloololo Escarpment provides a breathtaking backdrop. Flat-topped acacias occasionally dot the landscape, and ballooning over this area will give you silent, low-level views of hippos, buffalo, giraffes, elephants and, of course, herds of wildebeest and zebra that you will never forget. The reserve is actually a continuation of the plains of the Serengeti as they cross the border from Tanzania into Kenya. Little Governors' Camp In 1976 Little Governors Camp, situated on the banks of the Mara River, was built around a small watering hole that teems with birds and wildlife. The camp is reached by boat and the exquisite, romantic setting has a serenity all of its own. The Masai Mara is a unique area with a constant and unrivalled flow of wildlife throughout the year. From July to October the Mara becomes a backdrop for one of the last great natural wonders of the world, when 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra surge up from the Serengeti plains in their annual search for the seasonal grasses that sustain them. The spectacle as the vast herds cross rivers and sweep through the golden grasses, is punctuated by individual struggles with predators, which are in turn drawn to take their part in this dramatic event. While the migration is spectacular, game viewing at all other times of the year remains almost unrivalled anywhere in Africa. Intimate in character, there are just 17 tents tucked away among the trees. Each has an en-suite bathroom, hot running water, even bidets. In keeping with safari tradition lighting is by gas and kerosene lanterns, or by candlelight. From every verandah the view changes constantly as giraffe, elephants, buffalo, hippos and warthogs all come to drink or graze. Getting here is an

adventure in itself. As dusk falls, the flickering lights in the forest make the camp a peaceful and atmospheric place. Meals are our usual superlative standards, served, as is our style, outdoors during the day and in our candle lit dining tent by night. Come evening, it s time for chilled drinks and tall tales around the blazing campfire. Then finally a delicious dinner and a hot-water bottle to keep you warm in bed. Two game viewing excursions per day with experienced driver guides in the Masai Mara Game Reserve are included in the accommodation cost. Balloon safaris, guided walks in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, cultural visits to a nearby Masai Village, and excursions to Lake Victoria can be arranged at an extra cost. Included Accommodation, meals, two shared scheduled game drives a day, shared Musiara airstrip transfers, transportation to cultural visits (entry fees paid onsite), school & community projects, laundry, park fees Amenities Cell Phone Coverage, Ensuite Bathrooms, Laundry Included, Local Drinks Included, Wi-Fi Available at an Additional Cost All drinks, exclusive use of vehicle (subject to availability), entrance fee for cultural visits, Hot Air Balloon over the Masai Mara, Masai Cultural Visit, scenic helicopter tour, spa treatments, Lake Victoria day trips, fishing, specialist guiding, bush breakfasts, bush dinners, sundowners, walking safaris 2 DEC 2018 Nairobi Masai Mara Nairobi Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (1 hour, 20 minutes) Nairobi, Kenya (Departure Location) End Safari Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Kenya This is one of the main gateways to East Africa and gives you access not only to Kenya, but also Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda.
