Get one for $12.00! It seems like we are moving quickly thru spring. I m hoping some April showers will start to fall for my poor lawn is looking pitiful. I know I m not supposed to trim my roses until April 15 th, but I can t help myself. They are leafing out so much, I won t be able to see what to trim if I wait. Our meeting on April 9 th will be a busy one. We have 2 exchange students from Norway and China who are going to talk with us about their experiences living here in Western Colorado for the school year. Also, we will be hearing all about the upcoming Connecticut exchange and getting folks signed up to help with the multitude of tasks that are involved in an exchange. After the regular meeting, the group going to Austria and Croatia will meet to discuss our trip. Thanks to Poppy Woody for her interesting presentation on Road Scholars last meeting. It was good to learn how their trips differ from our exchanges and to be able to check out their catalogs of previous and upcoming trips. If you know of a club member who is ill, please let Carol DeAngelis know, so she can send a card from the club. Hope to see you at the April meeting! Sue

Nancy will be up from Durango and we will go over what we know about the trip, ideas on what to take, etc. Rocky Mountain Regional Conference, Incoming, May 13-15, 2016 (Chairman) Sue Moyer Information is included in the February Newsletter. For the latest information see page 4, WANTED. Russia, Sept 2016 (EDs) To be determined For those who know the Russians who came here last year, we are trying to work out an opportunity to visit with them prior to this exchange. So far, it seems we will go to Kolokov, which is a suburb of Moscow, first after their schools start (somewhere around the 8 th to 10 th of September). We will have one week in Kolokov and then a week in St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg can only host 15, so the trip will be limited to that number. Peak to Peak Global Incoming Exchange, Late Sept. 2016 (EDs) Sue Moyer & Jacque Berwick Things have changed a little for this incoming exchange. The ambassadors are flying here from Colorado Springs on Wednesday, Sept 21, 2016. We are partnering with the Utah Club for an add-on to the two week global exchange hosted by the Front Range Clubs. We will have 2 full days with the ambassadors and then drive them to Moab to meet up with the Utah Club. This may conflict with our outbound to Russia in September, but the schedule includes one day in the Palisade area and one day with a morning float trip and afternoon at the Monument. It is just a 3 night homestay. Charlotte, NC, October23-29, 2016 (EDs) To be determined We have firmed up the dates for this outbound exchange next year. Additional news will be coming later.
