Flooring, mat and linen The table cloth is Sheshwe and the place mats are from the same fabric. The mat is made from a place mat. The floor is painted to look like wood using woodstain and permanent marker. Art An original still life, painted in oil on paper sits on the cabinet. The re is also a plastic manikin pee in a glass dome. On the wall above the door, there are original ceramic decorative tiles made by Joan Adams.
Furniture and cooking ware The furniture consists of a table with legs made from plastic fondue stick handles. 3 Chairs made from cardboard and a highchair made from a plastic vitamin container, with alphabet beads. There is also a worktable with storage, a sink unit, an oven, fridge and cabinet. All these are made from various cardboard boxes. All the furniture is painted in enamel. Details include press stud knobs on the oven and fine netting on the cabinet doors. There are also three shelving units on the walls made from a cell phone box, bits of wood and kebab skewers. The pots above the stove are made from bottle tops and the bowls are embellished water bottle lids.
cooking Utensils and cleaning tools Cooking utensils, a colander, frying pan and pot hang above the sink, made from plastic and spray painted silver. The kitchen utensils hang on a knitting needle used as a rod. On the window sill are more utensils, cleaning materials and pot plants. The pot plants come from an old farm toy set belonging to my sons. On the sink is a dish rack made from plastic and painted silver. In the corner is a grass broom made from a kebab stick and grass left over from the floor mat. The mop is made of string and a kebab stick, the broom is an old toothbrush with a kebab stick handle. There is also a wash line and pegs. The pegs are found at a stationary supply. The bin is an ear bud container with a small black bag inside it.
Crockery, glasses and utensils Assorted paper clay plates, bowls, jars, bowls and cups and a kettle painted in blue grey and sealed with varnish. Assorted glasses made from gelatin capsules and beads and varnished. Also 2 baby bottles made from lids with hot glue teets.these are stored on the shelves. There are glass jars with cork stoppers stored on the top of the shelving units. Additional knives and forks are stored under the counter, along with plastic bowls and extra glass pot lids.
Handmade Food hand made paper clay food that has been painted and varnished includes 2 cakes, a glass cover made from a tooth pick jar lid with a glass bead handle. There is fresh fish and a braai pack including sausage, steak and fried eggs.

The kitchen cupboard has rice, noodles, cereals, milk, juice, biscuits, sweets, condiments and more. There are further essentials like disposable nappies, light bulbs, wrap, Vaseline, coffee, Milo, washing powders, cleaning materials and more. On top of the fridge is a case of wine bottles with wooden stoppers.
