More information if necessary can be given by Gerrie Brits (Gerrie.Brits@za.sabmiller.com) PRESENTATION OF PAPERS AND POSTERS Thank you very much to all those delegates who have offered to present a paper or a poster at the meeting of the Scientific Commission of the IHGC. The official language of the meeting will be English. Your presentation should be not exceed 15-20 minutes (including discussion) for papers and 5-10 minutes for posters (including discussion). Slide and overhead projectors are available as well as a computer for Power Point presentations. PROCEEDINGS and YOUR MANUSCRIPT OF THE PAPER OR POSTER All papers (5 pages in maximum) and posters (abstract of 1 page in maximum) will be published in the "Proceedings". A copy of the proceedings is handed to each participant at the beginning of the meeting. 3-Announcement- SC05 3
All papers and posters announced so far can be accepted (please see attached file: SC05-papersposters.xls). If the number of announced papers exceeds a specific number (18), we will have to make the decision which papers can be accepted for the lectures. WRITTEN MANUSCRIPT Please send the written version of your paper/poster to me via mail (diskette and print out) or via e- mail (file): Elisabeth.Seigner@LfL.bayern.de) no later than 17 December 2004 (dead line!!!!). Text processing package: - preferably MS-Word for papers and - Power Point for posters (1 page) Length of the written paper: no more than 5 pages (including figures, tables, references). Length of the written abstract of a poster: 1 page (text) or the whole poster on 1 page Vertical format: DIN A4 size page (29.7cm x 21.0 cm)!! For A4 size paper following margins: top: 2.5 cm; bottom: 2.0 cm; right: 2.5 cm; left: 2.5 cm Font and type size: Arial exclusively.
