Commercial Burglaries: 09/17/2015 6:10am 09/17/2015 4:30am Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 20000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial Fast Food) 20000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial Discount Store) Attempt on Drive Thru Window. Entry through window on west side of business. Rock was thrown through the window. Forced open front door. Video surveillance shows the following: Between 5:14am and 5:20am 2- B/M on foot approach from the west side. One suspect is wearing a red baseball hat with white letters, blue t-shirt with logo, and dark pants. The second suspect is wearing a black baseball hat, black shirt, black pants, and black shoes with white soles. Both suspects had slender to medium builds and looked to both be about 6 feet in height, age is unknown. Suspects appeared to make one attempt to break in through drive-thru window and then walk away for a short period. Suspects then return and the black male with blue shirt and red hat breaks in through west side window, goes to the counter area, rips the till out of register, and then leaves west on foot with second suspect. Store surveillance video shows 2 B/M's enter the store at 4:30am and break open the front manager's office door and look through drawers. They also checked the tills in the aisles in the store for cash. Nothing appeared to be taken by the suspects. The suspects appear to be the same 2 suspects from a B&E that occurred at the Fast Food Restaurant just east of this business overnight. One of the suspects had on a red ball cap, and the other a black ball cap.

R/P advised that she received a call from an electrical contractor this morning from the residence and he advised that the door knob had been broken off of the front door and the interior of the home had been vandalized with spray paint. R/P stated that she went to the home and discovered that wavy lines had been spray painted with black paint of most of the freshly painted interior walls of the home and the door lock had been broken off. R/P is the project manager for job and she suspects one of the painters that she had hired and then fired because they were unreliable and their work was poor. The suspect had phoned R/P the same day and demanded more money from R/P. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. From: 09/17/2015 1:00pm To: 09/17/2015 8:00pm 30000 Southfield Rd. (Residential Condo s) Attempted to pry open the front door. Victim advised that he left his condo today at approximately 1:00pm and secured it. Victim returned home at approximately 8:00pm and discovered that someone attempted to gain entry into his condo by prying the entry door. Entry was not gained and his alarm was not tripped.
From: 09/19/2015 6:00pm To: 09/20/2015 7:42pm 20000 Westland 5- Windows were broken out. Victim advises that she left the residence at 6:00pm to go to a hotel because she had lost her power. Victim returned to her residence the following day at 7:42pm and discovered the residence had been broken into. Victim immediately called 911 and Officers responded to residence. Officers discovered residence was in complete disarray, cabinets tipped over, windows broken, tables and other appliances broken with glass all over the floor throughout the entire home. Victim advises that her boyfriend called her and the landlord for the residence and told them both that he did all the damages inside the residence. Victim also advises that boyfriend is also in possession of her 2007 Jeep. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.
09/20/2015 11:35pm 28000 Everett St. Front door was forced open. Possibly kicked in. Tips: Let trusted neighbors know if you are not going to be at home Be cautious about who you let in your home for service and repairs Contact the Southfield Police Crime Prevention Bureau for a free home security inspection (248) 796-5409 Reporting party (R/P) advises he is house sitting at this residence while the owner is incarcerated. R/P states around 11:30pm he and his girlfriend were awakened by a loud bang and that when he looked at the cameras, he saw a B/M in the basement. The B/M had his shirt pulled up, exposing his chest and covering the bottom portion of his face. The male appeared to be coming from the bar area in the basement. R/P began making noise and yelling, trying to scare off the suspect. R/P watched the suspect freeze, pace back and forth, ran up the stairs and then he heard the back door bang open and a vehicle pull away at a high rate of speed. It s unknown if anything was taken from the residence. No further information at this time.

(Commercial Rental) Status I Recovered Stolen Manufacturer CADILLAC Model ATS Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2015 Body Style State MI Description Silver Cadillac ATS4 Status S - Stolen Manufacturer NISSAN Model Sentra Color BLU - Blue Vehicle Year 2015 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2015 On 09/15/2015 at 2:55pm, Officers were dispatched to 19000 Block of 12 Mile Rd. for a recovered stolen vehicle. OnStar notified Southfield Police Dispatch of the stolen vehicle's location. Officers observed the the Silver Cadillac ATS4 in the parking lot at plaza. The plate and VIN matched the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen on 09/07/2015 out of neighboring jurisdiction for failure to return a rental. Suspect rented a 2015 Nissan Sentra on 7/28/2015. The vehicle was scheduled to be returned on 7/29/2015. The vehicle was not returned as agreed upon per the rental agreement. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

R R tail light is taped. Trailer attached to truck when stolen. Status S - Stolen Description Black 10 Foot Trailer Notes Black 10 foot trailer. Carrying miscellaneous civil war reenactment materials. Victim advises that sometime between 9:15pm and the following morning at 6:30am someone stole company vehicle with trailer attached from their driveway. The trailer had several miscellaneous civil war reenactment materials.
09/17/2015 3:41pm 23000 Providence Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model IMPALA Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2004 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI Notes Keys were stolen from the house. Victim advises suspect was at her house on Tuesday September 15, 2015 @ at 4:00pm. Victim didn t notice the keys to her vehicle were missing until Thursday September 17, 2015 @ 1:00pm. Victim then went to look for her vehicle and discovered the vehicle was missing. Victim suspects the person that was at her house on September 15, 2015. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

Sometime between 9:30pm and 1:30am someone took victims 2012 GMC Terrain. No suspect information. 09/18/2015 8:52am 19000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Rental) Rental Truck A Rental Truck was reported stolen (fail to return) two weeks ago. It was returned. No further information. Victim states sometime between 5:00am- 7:00am someone took 3- Wheels & Tires from his 2013 Ford Edge.. 09/14/2015 8:26am 26000 Franklin Pointe (Residential- Condo s) 2- Drivers side Wheels & Tires were taken from 2013 Ford Edge. Victim states sometime between 10:00pm and the following morning at 7:30am someone took the two drivers side Wheels & Tires from her 2013 Ford Edge. There was also evidence that there was an attempt to take the other two Wheels & Tires. 09/14/2015 12:13pm 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Dealership) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2013 Dodge Charger. R/P Lease Turn In Manager for dealership advises someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from a 2013 Dodge Charger. Incident occurred between September 11, 2015- September 14, 2015 @ 9:00am. The vehicle was parked and secured in the lease return area to the rear of dealership.

Victim checked the exterior of the car and discovered scratch marks along the top of the door from what he believes to have been a lock out tool. Victim advises he came out to his vehicle and discovered a cell phone that doesn t belong to him on the front seat of his vehicle. Victim checked his vehicle further and discovered the door lock was damaged. Nothing is missing from the vehicle. Cell phone was placed into evidence.
From: 09/14/2015 3:30pm To: 09/15/2015 1:00am 26000 Greenfield Rd. (Commercial- Nursing Home) All Four Center Caps were taken from 2004 Chevy Trail Blazer. Victim stated she parked her 2004 Chevy Trailblazer in the parking lot of the Nursing Home at 3:30pm. Victim returned to her vehicle around 1:00am and discovered all 4 center caps on her wheels were now gone. 09/15/2015 11:02pm 18000 Westhaven Navigation Module was taken from 2008 Chrysler 300. Victim states the Navigational System was stolen out of his vehicle on Tuesday September 15, 2015@11:02pm. Entry was gained by breaking out the rear driver side door window. The incident was captured on surveillance video. No further information about the video at this time. From: 09/15/2015 3:00pm To: 09/16/2015 2:00am 26000 Greenfield Rd. (Commercial- Nursing Home) All 4- Hubcaps were taken from 1998 Ford Mustang. Victim states All Four Hubcaps were taken from her 1998 Ford Mustang. Incident occurred sometime between 3:00pm- 2:00am.

Victim advises sometime between 9:00pm and the following morning at 10:00am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2014 Ford Edge. Victim also reported that the suspect(s) broke out the passenger side rear window. From: 09/17/2015 7:00pm To: 09/18/2015 5:40am 20000 Camden Sq. (Residential- Apartments) Attempt to take Wheels & Tires from 2013 Ford Taurus SHO. Victim stated that he parked his vehicle around 7:00pm at his Apartment Complex. The following morning at 5:40am victim came back out to his vehicle and initially did not notice anything. When victim started to move his vehicle the left rear tire fell off and the lug nuts were on the ground. Someone had attempted to take his Wheels & Tires. 09/20/2015 10:19am 20000 Camden Sq. (Residential- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Chevy Corvette. Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Victim advises that sometime between 12:30am- 10:00am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from victims 2014 Chevy Corvette. The vehicle was parked in the driveway at residence.

(Fast Food Restaurant) on an R/A that had just occurred at the drive thru. Victim states she was in the drive thru placing an order. While at the speaker placing her order a black male wearing a grey hoodie over his head walked up to her driver s door. The subject reached through the open window and put a handgun to victims head and told victim to give him everything. Victim gave her wallet to subject who then ran east out of sight towards the back of the parking lot. Victim then left the lot without going through the drive thru window and called police. Victim states he had just delivered a pizza at location and was returning to his vehicle when he observed a Grand Am leave and 3 subjects standing there. Victim started to get into his vehicle when he heard the subjects say they wanted everything. The subjects went into victim s pockets and took his cash, a pack of cigarettes and another customer's pizza and brownie order. Officer stopped vehicle for Traffic Violation. Officer made contact with the driver and discovered he didn t possess a valid driver s license. Further investigation led to the driver giving Officer false information about his true identity. The driver was arrested for NOLOP & Obstruct Police.
8-20000 Block of Camden Sq. 2014 Chevy Corvette (Apartments) Vagrancy Curfew/ Juvenile Incorrigibility- 1- Arrest 29000 Block of Northwestern (Pharmacy) Officers were dispatched to 29000 Block of Northwestern Hwy (Pharmacy) on a missing Juvenile out of a neighboring community. Dispatch informed Officers that the missing 13 year old juvenile was driving her Grandmothers Silver Dodge Caravan and was in lein as a missing juvenile. Officers arrived at location and observed juvenile exiting the store. The juvenile seeing Officers ran to her vehicle, started the vehicle and attempted to leave. Officers blocked the vehicle in and took the juvenile into custody for Vagrancy Curfew/ Juvenile & Incorrigibility. The juvenile was later turned over to her Grandmother.
CSC 4 th Degree- 1- Arrest 09/15/2015 11:02 28000 Block of Franklin Rd. (Apartments) Officers were dispatched to the Complex on a CSC involving an employee of the facility. Victim stated that a fellow employee asked her to come into room with him. Victim went into the room with him, thinking that he needed help with something. Victim stated that once she got into the room with subject he started grabbing and groping her. She stated that she told him to stop, but he didn't. Officers reviewed video at facility that confirmed victim s story. The suspect was arrested for CSC 4 th Degree. Southfield Police Detectives conducted Follow Up Investigation. Immigration advises suspect is in America illegally. Oakland County Prosecutors Office Issued Warrant For CSC 4th Degree. Great Job!!! OWI- 1- Arrest Evergreen Rd. & Civic Center Dr. Officer responded to the area on a report of a single vehicle crash. Upon investigating it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for OWI.
