Overnight Guided Walks Day One Climb through a forest of snow gums from Dead Horse Gap, before following the ridge line toward Mount Kosciuszko. Head for our base camp and enjoy the hospitality of our guides with Billy Tea & Snacks. Kick off your shoes and marvel at the undisturbed view of Mount Kosciuszko. Leave camp late in the afternoon for a leisurely walk to the top of Australia to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Return to the fully catered campsite in the heart of Australia's true alpine terrain to relax & dine under a chandelier of stars. Day Two Wake early, have a quick cuppa and grab a snack as there s summiting to be done! From camp, stroll to Rawson s Pass (Highest Toilets in Australia here) before winding our way along the spine of the Great Divide past beautiful Lake Albina with its dramatic vista over the western escarpment. Then it s upwards to Carruther s Peak for lunch and a rest, whilst enjoying the breathtaking views of the Sentinel and Main Range. When you finish lunch, start the downhill track to the ancient Blue Lake cirque, a natural crater formed by a relentless combination of gravity and ice. Negotiate stepping stones across the famous Snowy River and climb a paved walkway back to Charlotte Pass Lookout and a leisurely bus ride back to Lake Crackenback Resort.

There is nothing more beautiful than standing on top of Australia in mid-winter, the sun shining, the mountains covered in snow, the snow-capped Victorian high country on the horizon and Mt Jagungal prominent to the north. Kosciuszko National Park is as compelling in the winter months as it is during the summer wildflower season and you can make your Kosciuszko Summit debut or return trip on snowshoes in winter.
Raft Building Rafting Regatta This program will take your team through a long list of recreational and problem solving activities as they battle it out in the Lake Crackenback Raft Regatta. Teams will need to successfully orienteer and gather equipment to build their raft whilst racing the clock. Fast and efficient teams will be rewarded with extended development and construction time on the raft before the race. Those that have been taking it a bit easy will be relying fast thinking and construction, plus creativity to carry them through. Raft Building has been a long term favorite team-building activity at Lake Crackenback during the warmer months of the year.
