Boyce Council, Boy Scouts of America HOW THE CAMP CARD SALE WORKS: The Camp Card is designed to help Scouts and units fund their 2014 Camp programs This is a Risk Free Unit Sales project where all Scouts can earn their way to Camp, National High Adventure Bases, Cache Lake, other activities or support unit program or supplies needs Each Camp Card will sell for only $15.00 to the general public and will have multiple food, service and entertainment discounts for the customer to use throughout the year The participating unit will keep $6.00 for each Camp Card sold plus, by returning and/or paying on-time, you will receive $50 off your Scout summer camp fee invoice for each 100 cards sold! With more than $50.00 in multiple use discounts, the Camp Card PAYS FOR ITSELF! Determine NOW the Camping programs your youth plan to participate in for 2014 2. Determine the number of active youth in your program 3. Set a per youth sales goal (number of Camp Cards he/she should sell) 4. Set an overall unit sales goal 5. Communicate unit needs clearly with each youth and parent a. Explain how the sale teaches youth the value of earning what they want b. Explain exactly where the unit plans to allocate the revenue generated from the sales (i.e. Individual youth Camp fees, Uniform, Unit Trailer, etc.) 6. Communicate Camp Card calendar clearly with all youth and parents a. Have a Kickoff for your unit b. Have a Turn-In date for money and unsold Camp Cards Unit Sales Incentives: Place your order by March 7 th and settle your account by June 6 th to receive $6.00 commission plus $50 off your Scout s summer camp fee for each 100 cards sold Place your card order by March 7 th, settle your account by June 6 th and sell a minimum of 250 Camp Cards, your unit will be placed in a drawing for a $200 Visa Gift Card Youth Sales Incentives: For every 25 Camp Cards a Scout sells, he will be eligible for 6 weekly drawings (March 21 April 25) for a $50 Visa Gift Card. In addition to weekly drawings, for every 25 Camp Cards a Scout sells, his name will be entered into our grand prize drawing for a $200 Visa Gift Card to help purchase new camping supplies; the Grand Prize drawing will be held on June 6 th.
