BIKE ROUTE CAPE HENLOPEN STATE PARK Switch to Park Trails (Left side of roadway) at Park entrance Scenic Overlook (Great View) PARK TRAILS Some of the most scenic parts of the Tour desussex will be experienced as you bike through Cape Henlopen State Park. Most of the trip through the park will be on Roads of Hard Surface Trails. However, several miles of the Gordon s Pond trail surface are crushed gravel. The trail is very rideable, even on narrow road bike tires, however we suggest you slow down a bit, both for safety and to enjoy the view. You can appreciate nature and the lack of automobile traffic as you travel along the Atlantic Coast.
