General Information Meeting Attire Meeting attire is resort casual. Polo shirts and khakis/slacks are appropriate for meetings, Theme Party and Quench Tank. Ladies may wish to wear casual dresses or skirts/slacks with a casual top. It will be cool in the evenings. Be sure to bring a sweater or jacket. Friday Evening s Gala Recommended attire for the President s Gala includes coat and tie for gentlemen and cocktail dresses for the ladies. Weather May is a perfect time to visit New Mexico. Daytime averages are in the high 70s with evenings dipping down into the 50s. There is little rainfall in the month of May so we anticipate terrific weather for our meeting. Travel The following airports are within driving distance of the resort. Albuquerque, NM (ABQ) is 27 miles from the resort and is serviced by most major airlines. Social Activities Stargazing Party Spouse/Guest Event - Wine & Watercolor Wednesday evening, we will be gathering in the Resort s Sunrise Amphitheater where Peter of Astronomy Adventures will have their large Newtonian reflector telescope set up to take us on a guided tour of the night skies, pointing out planets, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies many light years away. An extraordinary event not to be missed. Join us for a time to learn, laugh and relax with NM Wine & Watercolor. Learn from a local artist to create a watercolor you can truly call your own. Painting is the perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends, accompanied with a fantastic glass of wine.
