ABOUT ROCKY MOUNTAIN WILD EVENTS WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL This evening features award-winning environmental and outdoor adventure films from around the world that inspire us to continue the cause to keep the Rocky Mountains wild. This film festival is made by activists for activists and sits apart from the hundreds of festivals around the world by leaving you feeling inspired and motivated to go out and make a difference in your community and the world. Rocky Mountain Wild hosts a fun, interactive reception where you can speak with local filmmakers and take part in direct actions in our Citizens Action Hub! The Hub will feature a myriad of direct actions you can take from local non-profits. This event has sold out for the last two years! BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL WORLD TOUR This event features outstanding adventure, environmental, exploration, and mountain culture films from around the world. On top of great films, there are opportunities to win gear, gift cards, classes, and epic adventures in the raffle and silent auction. Proceeds of this event benefit Rocky Mountain Wild and San Juan Citizens Alliance, and are used to help keep Wolf Creek pass wild! COLORADO ENDANGERED SPECIES WEEK In 2017, Rocky Mountain Wild held the inaugural Colorado Endangered Species Week. The event was a huge success, with six Rocky Mountain Wild events, two partner events, 150 postcards signed to protect Gunnison sage-grouse habitat, news articles and radio interviews about the event, and an official declaration of Colorado Endangered Species Week by Governor Hickenlooper! This year, Rocky Mountain Wild and our partners will be organizing speakers, films, fundraisers, and other activities along the Front Range, with major events occurring in Boulder and Denver. BITES & BREWS FOR BIODIVERSITY Bites & Brews for Biodiversity is both a celebration of all the year s wildlife wins as well as Rocky Mountain Wild s largest fundraising event of the year, providing funds for the following year s programs. The event features local vegan and vegetarian bites and local brews, the most awesome environmental silent auction in the Front Range, and a wildlife themed game.
