AUTO THEFT PROPERTY OFFENCES We had 6 Auto Theft files this week, for the second week in a row. Incidents occurred mainly in D3 and D4, with one file in D2 (Ladner). Of the 6 stolens, 4 have been recovered Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford, and Delta (117 th / 88 th ). We also saw 3 recovered outside stolens, all in D4, with 2 in very close proximity at 78 th /79 th and 112 th. Of interest are the following: Theft of Auto Area (10316, 10637, 10312 D4): We had 2 recovered stolens (Burnaby and Delta), recovered within close proximity this past week at 79 th and 112 th. Also within the same area at Sungod Arena, a Vancouver stolen Honda Civic was recovered at the same time and location as a Delta Honda Accord was stolen. Video captured a Caucasian male and female exiting the Vancouver stolen before stealing the Delta vehicle. The Delta stolen was later recovered nearby at 117 th and 88 th. Locker Theft / Auto Theft (10824 D2): Ladner Leisure Centre was targeted for locker theft this past week, where keys and contents were stolen, followed by the theft of the vehicle, a red Ford Escape. Credit cards were later compromised and the vehicle has not yet been recovered. BUSINESS BREAK AND ENTER We had 4 Bus B&Es over the last week 3 in Tilbury and 1 in D4. The Tilbury B&Es were to a business, a construction site office (tools, grease gun, radio batteries, chargers, and boots stolen fuel syphoned from generator), and two incidents to a compound (second incident lock cut nothing stolen). The D4 B&E was to an abandoned building (nothing stolen). Of interest is the following: Compound B&E (10750, 8692 D2): Police received a hold up alarm at 0128 hours and advised a male was in the rear fenced compound. Male is described as a Caucasian, 40s, larger build, wearing a red plaid sweater, blue jeans, with glasses on his head. K9 attended and did a dog track with negative results. Police located padlock cut off. Nothing stolen but it is possibly related to similar B&E on May 4 th (8692), where suspect entered compound at 0510 hours. Video was received from the most recent incident and the suspect appears to resemble Bus B&E suspect where the office was targeted, exterior cameras were spray painted, glass was removed from the door, and two computers were stolen.

OTHER BREAK AND ENTER We had 5 Oth B&Es this past week 4 in Ladner and 1 in D4. Of the Ladner B&Es, 1 was a rear shed/office (Macbook, external hard drive, bottle of whiskey stolen), 1 was a detached garage (unlocked flashlight AAA and AA batteries stolen), and 2 were backyard sheds (both unlocked sunglasses, longboard, xbox and bike stolen). Video surveillance was received and a suspect has been identified. The suspect is believed to related to several other Ladner B&Es. The North Delta B&E (10431) was to a construction site where a male jumped the fence. The suspect was located inside, arrested and identified. He is facing charges and has a lengthy history including mainly property crime offences. RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER Res B&Es were at 5 for the week, with 4 of these occurring in Tsawwassen the remaining 1 was in D4 (no forced entry purse stolen from table). Of the 4 Tsawwassen B&Es, 1 was an underground parkade (damage to side door bikes stolen possible suspect vehicle, as below), 1 was a residence with unlocked rear door (laptop, watch, rings, backpack, ski helmet stolen), 1 was entry via removal of the window screen and climbing inside (Macbook, costume jewelry stolen suspect description, as below), and 1 was a house for sale (no signs of forced entry, unknown stolen). Possible Parkade B&E Suspect Vehicle (10475 D1): A report was received of the theft of two bikes from an underground parkade in Tsawwassen. Access was gained by damage to the side parkade door. Witness observed a two tone brown older model 90s ford, 4 door, long box in the visitor parking area of the parkade with bicycles in the rear of the box. A white male was associated to the truck late 20 s, brown hair, clean cut, dark hoodie, beige jacket, blue jeans. The truck and male were never previously observed at/in the building. A bike theft person of interest was recently released from custody and residing in the Tsawwassen area. Tsawwassen Res B&E Suspect (10645 D1): A Res B&E occurred in Tsawwassen (1445 1800 hours) where the window screen was removed and the suspect entered through the window to steal a Macbook and costume jewelry. A witness observed the suspect, described as a Caucasian male, 30 45 years old, medium build, wearing a light blue track suit and riding a bike. We had 4 bikes stolen, with 3 of these being from Ladner and 1 from Tsawwassen. One suspect has identified as being responsible for at least one Ladner incident and may be of interest in the remaining files. Multiple suspects appear to be targeting bikes in Tsawwassen. Theft of Items Left for Delivery (10294 D2): We had an incident this past week in Ladner where an item sold online was left outside the front door of a residence for pickup on the honour system, but was stolen prior to the pickup. A similar incident occurred in Tsawwassen where a delivery of some very fine essential oils was stolen when left by a delivery service at a residence prior to the homeowner returning home.
