GENERAL INFORMATION Finca Luna Nueva Lodge is a sustainable rainforest eco-lodge hotel, offering an intimate experience of primary rainforest together with a certified organic biodynamic farm. We began farming here in 1994, planting and harvesting organic ginger and turmeric, and promoting sustainable agriculture and conservation in the local community. In 2004 we decided to take our promotion of sustainable practices to the next level by building several beautiful eco-lodges using fallen timber from the farm. Since then we have added a 50 foot high observation tower, a solar heated Jacuzzi, an ozonated swimming pool, and a handicapped accessible rainforest trail. Now you can experience the Costa Rican rainforest, learn about our farms sustainable practices and relax in our rustic yet luxurious accommodations.
Walk through well-groomed rain forest trails on our guided farm tours and hikes, eat gourmet meals prepared from our fresh organic garden produce, and witness the majesty of the Arenal Volcano. Casa Luna Casa Luna has four spacious rooms, each with a private bathroom with hot water. Three Casa Luna has one queen bed and one single bed and one Casa Luna has 1 king sized bed and one single bed. All the rooms in Casa Luna have closet, desk and ceiling fan.when you step outside of your room you will enjoy our second floor wrap-around porch with hammocks and stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Downstairs you will find one of our large open air dining and lounge area, with comfortable couches and chairs. Do not be surprised if a butterfly flutters by as you are eating dinner or enjoying a glass of wine, as the dining and lounge area is open. Max 3 pax per room.
Finca Luna Nueva Lodge Casa Sombra All three rooms in Casa Sombra have air conditioning, queen sized bed, day bed, closet and a private bathroom with hot water. The rooms in Casa Sombra all have beautiful wood paneled walls constructed from fallen timber from our farm. The second floor of Casa Sombra also includes a wrap-around porch with hammocks and beautiful views of the rainforest and surrounding hills. Because we are higher than the surrounding area, at night you will see a dusting of lights from the local towns and villages. When you go downstairs you will find our second open air dining and lounge area, also equipped with comfortable chairs, tables and couches. Max 2 pax per room. Family Bungalows Our Family Bungalows are located near our ozonated swimming pool and solar heated Jacuzzi, the perfect place to relax after an invigorating hike through the rainforest. These spacious bungalows are ideal for families or groups traveling on a budget. All family bungalows have 1 queen bed, 4 single beds, a private bathroom with hot water and include indoor and outdoor sitting areas overlooking fruit trees and fields. Enjoy complementary tea and coffee every morning while taking in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Max 6 pax per room. Individual Bungalows Three private spacious individual bungalows are available. Two with queen sized beds, a day bed, hot-water private bathroom, and outdoor sitting area and one with king sized bed, a day bed, hot-water private bathroom, and outdoor sitting area. These bungalows are perfect for couples looking for a private and relaxing getaway. You will enjoy the peaceful sounds of the rainforest when you wake up every morning, from the trills of tropical birds to the enchanting voice of the howler monkey. Max 2 pax per room.

RESERVATION POLICIES All reservations, modifications and cancelations must be sent by e-mail (info@fincalunanuevalodge.com) or fax (506) 2468-0864. All reservations must contain name of client, check in date, check out date, the amount of nights, number of people, and indicate the type of room. Check out time is 12:00 noon and check-in time is 2:00 p.m. However, Finca Luna Nueva will make best efforts to accommodate guests prior to the official check-in or after the official check out time when requested, and subject to availability. Please note special dietary requirements, such as food allergies, vegetarian, or vegan. Release: 90 Days before the arrival date. We strongly recommend that all travel agencies encourage guests to buy travel insurance. Travel insurance will generally reimburse guests for last-minute cancellations due to personal emergencies or injuries. If the numbers of rooms drop below six or number of guests below 10 Agency Rates will be applied. POLICIES FOR CHILDREN
Children from 1 to 5 years old sharing with parents are free of charge. Children between 6-12 years pay $10+tax per night. Children older than 12 years are received as adults. POLICIES FOR DRIVERS AND GUIDES OF GROUPS For groups of less than 6 rooms or 10 people the guide and driver pays $25.00 USD plus taxes each, per night, in a double room, with breakfast and a 30% discount on all meals. PAYMENT POLICIES For agencies all reservations must be prepaid 25% once the reservation has been received and accepted in our office (Not redeemable) the next 75% 90 days before the arrival day. You will be notified of acceptance after office review. Payments can be made by direct deposits to our Banco de Costa Rica dollars account or credit card via a signed credit card authorization form (Visa/MasterCard). Peak Season No refunds, 100% Penalty. High Season and Holidays Within 45 days there are no charges. Within 44 to 15 days there is 50% charge of the total amount. Less than 15 days there is 100% charge of the total amount. In case of no show there is 100% charge of the total amount. In case of cancelations within 60 days, we reserve the right to require an increased deposit or modify refund provisions on future groups Low Season Cancelation at any time 25% Between 44 and 15 days there is 50 % charge of the total amount.
