I m still waiting for some snow! We had a hint of it one morning about a month ago but that has been it. We had a great time at Indio, even though we went in later than everyone else due to all of us being sick. I have to say that that was no fun! Our daughter had it the worst and ended up in the emergency room. Thanks to Tom Williams for having his recruiting hat on and bringing in a new member which he met at Indio, Steve Rive. Welcome Steve. I m hoping that we will see you at the March rally at the Pala Casino/RV Resort. Please welcome him in to our group. For those who were not there to hear the winning entry for next year s theme it will be Once Upon a Time. Sounds like a subject we could do a lot with for the parade. Put your thinking caps on. Next Wednesday we will head to Bouse, AZ, to visit friends. From there we will head to Laughlin for the Beat-The-Odds rally. There is an application in this newsletter for those who are interested. I believe it is already past the date to register but if you call Christine Cross I believe that they can get a space for you. It really is a fun rally with lots of great people! As I stated in the last newsletter I will be resigning as the Tracker s Newsletter Editor. Now is the time for that and regretfully I must say that no one came forward to offer to take this position. As of right now, this will be our last newsletter. I hate to see that happen as this is the way we get information about upcoming rallies and important information about our chapter members. I would like to thank Frank and Pat Amore for volunteering to host the April rally at Boulder Creek. Please see the application later in this newsletter. Take care and travel safe, Debbie Golk, F316752 Chapter President

PAGE 2 Vice President s Message Hello Trackers- Indio at a glance: Trackers parked together, weathered the rain, won prizes and had a great time. Volunteers Denis & Vivian Thomas, Tom & Dee Williams, Tom & Carol Pontolillo, Nanette Caldwell, Joe & Sandy Billingsley and Pat & Buck Youngblood helped make the FMCA Rally paperwork go smoothly. Denis & Vivian won a very nice prize in the drawing. Denis said the lady next to him said that prize was going to be hers and Denis rubbed his arm next to hers and said maybe some of that luck would rub off on him--it did, the lady was Carol Pontolillo. Rino & Karen (winner, winner chicken dinner) Rino said as he raised his hand with the winning ticket for one of three 50/50 payouts. Congrats! The parade was spot on! We all sat and judged each float with voting placards made by Joe Billingsley (each made with paper plates with a large 10). Bob & Debbie got a perfect 10 riding in their Golk Cart. Looked for Fred & Joanne in the parade but they were most likely working down at The Fullenwider bldg. Nanette had an early exit because her sister was flying in from Chicago for a visit. Then off to Lake Havasu State park to meet up with the Apollo Amigos for the Balloon Festival. We had very nice parking spaces. Weather did not co-operate and the balloons could not fly (too much wind). Very Respectfully, Buck Youngblood, F423010 Chapter Vice President Hi fellow Trackers; A few words from our Wagon Master: As your Wagon master and boss of all bosses (except my own household) I want to take a moment and acknowledge Frank and Pat Amore for stepping up to the plate (It is almost baseball season, after all) and agreeing to chair our April rally at Boulder Creek in Lone Pine. This is always a fun event. Given that this is their first effort at doing this I would ask everyone to help them out with suggestions and so forth as well as be ready to help out during the event. To that end please calendar April 12 to 15 for this event. A registration form will be in this newsletter but please do not wait until the last minute to sign up. Their phone number is 1-760-503-8106. We had a nice event in Indio again this past January with seven coaches parking at our Palm Drive location and the Wells and Golks appearing periodically as their time allowed. We had Margaritas during happy hour most nights and I have a feeling that we may have started a new tradition with them. We had nice entertainment and a nice parade. We were spectators this year as we did not have an entry. After the event many of us went to the Lake Havasu Balloon Festival in conjunction with the Apollo Amigos and that was also a nice event. Sadly we did not see any balloons in the sky as it was too windy for them. The facility was nice and there were 15 coaches in attendance between the two clubs. Overall, it was a nice two-plus weeks away from the grind, although cell phones and computers allowed me to stay in touch with things back home. I do want to take this opportunity to welcome a new member to our happy little group. He is Steve Rive and he currently resides in Indio, but will be going full time soon in his new class-c motor home. We look forward to having everyone meet him at the March rally at the PALA Casino RV Park, March 22 to 25. The Pontolillos are chairing this event and info is in this newsletter. Please get signed up ASAP for this. Remember that we, as a group, decided that the scheduled events will be held even if there is not a minimum of 10 rigs going. If there is an up-charge (usually very small) then each rig will contribute to this. This is a new venue so let s all get out there and see what it is all about.

PAGE 3 Lastly, we still have an opening for rally locations for October and November so I am most interested to hear suggestions on either of these months. I hear that there is a new RV Resort in Paso Robles so if anyone has info on that please advise. We have not been there in a while and it might be good to go back to the area. I better stop now before this gets too long (perhaps it is already).
