Arts District Development Projects Ford Factory Building The former Ford Motor Factory building at the southwest corner of Seventh Street and Santa Fe Avenue will be transformed into creative office space with retail on the ground floor. Shorenstein Properties purchased the 102-year-old building and two accompanying structures for $37M. AMP Lofts The Amp Lofts would bring 320 live/work apartments and 20,000 sq.ft. of retail space to Seventh Street and Santa Fe Avenue in the Arts District. AT Mateo ASB Real Estate Investments and Century City s Blatteis & Schnur announced plans last year to create a 130,000-square-foot Arts District retail center. They purchased the property last year for $32.5 million. Fourth & Traction The century-old Coca-Cola building in the Arts District will be transformed into a mixed-use complex with creative office space, retail and restaurants. Arts District Brewing Co. Construction is underway at 213 Nightlife s Traction Avenue Brewpub. Plans for the bar at 828 Traction Ave. call for 258 seats. Nightlife proprietor Cedd Moses will dedicate more than half of the 17,320-square-foot business to the brewery and kitchen, and it will include a family-oriented restaurant. 950 E 3rd Groundbreaking is expected for a 472-apartment project at 950 E. Third St. by Legendary Developments. The $160 million complex is slated to rise on a six-acre site adjacent to the Southern California Institute of Architecture. SoHo House The exclusive private club SoHo House is planning on opening its second Los Angeles location in the Arts District at the corner of Santa Fe Avenue and Bay Street. The current 80,000 SF warehouse building will be completely renovated, including a rooftop pool. Alameda Square (Row DTLA) Owner Atlas Capital Group plans to offer 1.3 million sq.ft. of office space at ROW DTLA with hopes of housing up to 20,000 employees, in addition to 200,000 sq.ft. of luxury commercial space and a 10-story parking garage. 500 S Santa Fe The 5-story mixed-use project is under construction and will include 65,000 sq.ft. of creative office space in addition to 12,000 sq.ft. of retail. 2045 Violet Currently under construction, 20145 Violet St will house 20,000 sq.ft. of office space and 10,000 sq.ft. of retail space. Industrial Street Lofts The 7-story mixed-use building is under construction with 360 live-work units and 10,063 sq.ft. of commercial space, in addition to 1,512 sq.ft. of commerclal space In a 1-story, free-standing building. The Project proposes a total floor area of 342,428 sq.ft., 521 parking spaces and 41,693 sq.ft. of open space. Alameda & 4th Lofts A proposed project at 360 S Alameda St will feature a 55,719 sq.ft. 6-story building with 63 residential units. 1800 E 7th St A proposed mixed-use 7-story development in the southern Arts District would feature 125 live-work apartments and 8,000 sq.ft. of ground-floor retail space. Proposed amenities include 500 sq.ft. of artist s production space, outdoor gardens on the building s second and roof levels, and 2 floors of underground parking. 527 S Colyton St Bolour Associates purchased the site on the corner of Palmetto Street and Colyton St in July of 2014. The site consists of 60,000 sq.ft. of land with an existing 12,000 sq.ft. structure. Bolour plans to build a mixed-use residential and creative office project on the site with 234 lofts and 13,400 sq.ft. of retail.
