Inside, the cottages are decorated in warm red and natural colours, with local art accenting the rooms and chunky hardwood furniture adding plenty of rustic charm. You ll feel cosy curled up on the sofa in front of the log-burner of an evening and revitalised when the sun streams in through the large windows in the morning. Downstairs is open plan, with a modern fitted kitchen equipped with everything you need for a self catering break; a spacious living area that boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and plenty of room for both a lounge and a dining area, a porch to store coats and boots, a small WC and the first of three bedrooms. This downstairs bedroom has twin beds and it s own en-suite bathroom. Upstairs there is a large gallery landing with a seating area that can be used as a second living room or snug, and two further large double bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms. How to find the cottages We may be remote, but we can help guide you to the door. Just follow our recommended route and these 5 simple steps: 1. Travel to Nether Lochaber ferry terminal by train, bus or car. We can help you plan the first part of your route on the travel options page at our website. www.sunartadventures.com/travel/travel-options.html 2. Once you ve reached Nether Lochaber, take the Corran Ferry from the terminal for the short 10-minute crossing to Ardgour. 3. Now you re back on dry land, follow the A861 through Strontian until you reach Salen. 4. Look out for a left turn in Salen signposted for the B8007 and follow that road for six miles to Glenborrodale. 5. When you arrive in Glenborrodale, look out towards Loch Sunart to spot the cottages. They re on the shore side of the road, just 350 metres from the small primary school. You could also pop the postcode PH36 4JP in your sat nav to help keep you on course.
