This is now the 12th event and it has grown from 150 cars to well over 1500. There are Corvettes everywhere. A large number of our members will be again returning for a beautiful time of the year, lots of friends, and Corvette overload. You can look at the agenda for this year at www.eurekaspringscorvette.org. We will have groups going Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning, Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, and Friday afternoon. There will be autocrosses, drag racing, fuel economy runs, car shows, poker runs, and mountain tours. There is no preregistration for the event but you do need to be reserving your hotel room. The Tulsa club and we book the Holiday Inn Express for us. In return, we get reduced room rates and a hospitality room. The hotel has an atrium pool and hot tub. If you like peace and quiet, like I do, you will want an outside room. If you like the action, you will want an inside room. Many of us will get the same rooms that we have had for years as the hotel gives 1st choice to returning members. These rooms have been booked since the event last year. For you 1st timers, you need to call the manager, Lynn, during the week at 1-800-986-9733 to reserve a room for yourselves. You will have to tell him that you are with the Air Capital Corvette Club; otherwise you will find the motel is full. Do come, I guarantee you will enjoy it. Daryl Burbach Page 3
