Itinerary Freedom of the Seas Eastern Caribbean Itinerary 8 Days / 7 Nights Sunday 1:00 PM Arrive at the Port of Miami for embarkation and check-in. You will be greeted by a Cruise Festivals Representative. Boarding begins for the Freedom of the Seas - Welcome Aboard! Lunch Buffet is served in the Windjammer Café. 4:30 PM Mandatory Passenger Life Boat Drill. 5:00 PM The Freedom of the Seas sails to San Juan, Puerto Rico. 5:15 PM Mandatory information meeting for all Cruise Festival Passengers. 6:00 PM Dinner is served in the Isaac, Leonardo or Galileo Dining Rooms. Your group will be seated in the same dining room for each meal. You will be notified of your dining room assignment upon check-in at the port. 8:45 PM Welcome Aboard Show in Arcadia Theatre. Monday 7:30 AM Breakfast is served in the Dining Room. Breakfast Buffet is served in the Windjammer Café. 9:00 AM Adjudications will be held this morning in the Arcadia Theatre, or Pharaoh s Palace. Clinics will be scheduled to follow each group's performance. ALL DAY Have an enjoyable "Fun Day at Sea" overflowing with activities that are planned for you and the rest of the guests. Take advantage of the state-of-the-art fitness center or the spa services (these are an additional charge). You can also play bingo, climb the rock wall, roller skate, play golf or even try the new Flow Rider. No matter what you decide to do with your day, relax and enjoy your day at sea. 12:00 NOON Lunch is served in the Dining Room. When local authorities have cleared the vessel, all passengers may disembark at their leisure from the gangway. One of the largest islands in the Eastern Caribbean, Puerto Rico's landscape encompasses mountains, underground caves, coral reefs, white-sand beaches and an incredibly massive rain forest that supplies fresh water to most of the island. Don't miss the opportunity to witness the pinnacle of natural beauty by exploring Puerto Rico's El Yunque Rain Forest. It features more than 240 species of trees, hundreds of miniature orchids, and what was once believed to be the Fountain of Youth. 6:00 PM Dinner is served in the Isaac, Leonardo and Galileo Dining Rooms. 11:00 PM The Freedom of the Seas sets sail for Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Wednesday 7:30 AM Breakfast is served in the Dining Room. Breakfast Buffet is served in the Windjammer Café. 8:00 AM The Freedom of the Seas is scheduled to arrive in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. When lo cal authorities have cleared the vessel, all passengers may disembark at their leisure from the gangway. You may wish to arrange an excursion for your group at an additional charge. Please see the Ex cursion Desk located on Deck 5 to sign up for any excursions. While the beaches and ocean are beautiful, there is one thing that really sets St. Thomas apart - shopping. Browse through the shop- lined streets of Charlotte Amalie and find out why St. Thomas is called the "duty-free shopping capital of the world." Shop for duty- free trinkets and bargains on everything. If your not into shopping take a ride on Skyline Drive and enjoy a breathtaking view of St. Thomas Harbor. Then travel to Mountain Top, the highest point on St. Thomas, and see spectacular views of Magens Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Check out Coral World Marine Park, where you can touch sea stars at the touch pool or explore the mystery of life in a mangrove lagoon off the Coastal Trail. Or sit back and enjoy a relaxing half-day sail to Buck Island aboard a large sailing yacht, then snorkel in Turtle Cove. 12:00 NOON Lunch is served in the Dining Room. Breakfast Buffet served in the Windjammer Café 8:00 AM The Freedom of the Seas is scheduled to arrive in Philipsburg, St. Maarten. When local authorities have cleared the vessel, all passengers may disembark and take the tender into the cruise port at their leisure. While in St. Maarten compete in an actual race on an America's Cup shortened course. Grind a winch, trim a sail or just sit back and enjoy. Professional sailors will give you a quick lesson, then you're off to compete on Stars and Stripes, one of the most famous sailboats in the world. Admire the delicate nature and dazzling colors of hundreds of butter flies as you tour St. Maarten's popular Butterfly Farm. Tour the saltwater lagoons by kayak, and Thursdaydiscover egrets, plovers, heron and pelicans. Discover the undersea world of coral
