Chinzombo by Norman Carr Safaris Day 1 3 You will embark on the Profight from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport to Mfuwe Airport. Experience your 3 night stay at Chinzombo with ensuite bathroom. Chinzombo by Norman Carr Safaris Exclusive and luxurious, yet quintessentially natural, Chinzombo is tucked into the shade of ancient trees on a bend of the Luangwa River. Six beautiful villas combine a modern architectural feel with indigenous materials, locally reduced leather, reeds, canvas and recycled composite timber floors. Each beautifully situated villa boasts its own private plunge pool, refreshingly cooled sleeping area and generous bathroom. Bedrooms open out onto shaded decks, while each villa also has a yoga and exercise area, as well as a spa treatment area. A winding path connects the villas with a shared lounge and dining area set in the shade of msikizi trees. Elegant dining and lounge areas, as well as library, look out onto the river. A treeshaded pool surrounded by a lookout deck offers a cool place to relax in the heat of the day. Sausage Tree Camp Day 4-6 You will embark on the Profight from Mfuwe Airport to Jeki Airstrip. Sausage Tree Camp Sausage Tree Camp is hidden amongst mature sausage and mahogany trees on the banks of the Zambezi River. Guests are spoilt for choice, as the camp offers Bedouin-style tents with an ensuite bathroom and private veranda, as well as Honeymoon tents with an ensuite bathroom, dining area, personal bar, private pool and veranda. The sole-use Kigelia House is perfect for small groups or families, as it features spacious bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, a sitting room, private pool and veranda. Superb African-fusion meals are served in the open-air dining tent, on the main viewing deck or in the privacy of guests tents. Refreshing sundowners can be enjoyed in the welcoming bar area, which is fronted by an enormous teak deck that overlooks the Zambezi River, while a sparkling swimming pool completes the setting. Adventures include twice-daily game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, boat cruises and fishing. andbeyond Phinda Rock Lodge Dramatically set into a cliff-face overlooking spectacular Leopard Rock, the unique Rock Lodge at andbeyond Phinda Private Game Reserve is an architectural fascination. Its six suites are seemingly suspended over the deep valley below, providing breathtaking views. Each romantic suite, constructed from contoured stone and adobe, boasts solid wooden shutters and doors, opening onto a private plunge pool and viewing deck. Put your feet up during your 2 night stay at The Oyster Box Hotel in a Classic Sea Facing Room with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast. Day 12 You will be collected by an andbeyond representative at The Oyster Box Hotel and driven to King Shaka International Airport.
The Oyster Box The landmark Oyster Box Hotel lies at the edge of the beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean. All the suites boast views of the gardens, the lighthouse or the coastline. Ensuite bathrooms, satellite television, CD/DVD players, Wi-Fi and personal bars are included. Selected suites offer balconies to soak up the views. The villas are equipped with opulent bathrooms, private pools and terraces. The larger suites and villas are ideal for families.
