Luang Prabang Internationa Airport is now an international entry point, and regular flight are available from Luangprabang to Vientiane, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jinghong, Chendu, Siemreap, Singapore and Incheon. It is estimated that by 2016 tourism arrivals will reach 4.2 million visitors and 4.3 million by 2020 that will generate approximately USD 550-760 million per annum. predominant tourists visiting Lao PDR come from the following countries: in ASEAN countries: Thailand and Vietnam; in Asia-Pacific: China, Japan, Korea and Australia.
