ANY OTHER BUSINESS 1. Sharon is currently looking at catalogues for new Christmas decorations and meal boxes for the childrens Christmas Party. 2. Charlie Spenceley suggested that we hold a Murder Mystery. She will investigate this further. 3. The subject of the use of the marquee was discussed. Recently, the marquee had been erected by only three people. It took a great deal of time to do so. The Commodore pointed out that the marquee is only on loan to the club and was originally set aside for use by the club only (not for private parties). It would cost 7000-9000 to replace. The committee agreed that, in future, the marquee would not be used for private parties unless 200 was paid for putting it up. This will be discussed at the next House Committee. There followed a discussion about a worrying trend amongst the membership of Portchester Sailing Club that of fewer members helping and more members demanding. Date of the next meeting: 11 th October, 2012
