I m married and mother of one child, seven years old. I studied Natural Science in Turin University at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Science. I hold the Master s Degree in Natural Sciences and I m a PhD candidate at the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete. Since 2005 I work as a botanist at the Park for the Preservation of Flora and Fauna of the Technical University of Crete. My research concerns the ecology, distribution and conservation of native and alien species of the Cretan Flora, the conservation of cultivated landraces, and the record and study of historic gardens. I also organize seminars and field guided tours for schools and tourists.
