Thank you for considering the Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport. We are pleased to give you some information about our hotel that you may find useful when planning your visit. Arriving at the hotel All disabled guests should use the main entrance of the hotel. The main entrance has a double automatic sliding door. After 11pm, the front doors are locked and a doorbell is on the right side of the entrance door. If you are using the car park, there are 12 clearly marked disabled bays at the front of the hotel. If you need help with luggage or equipment, or any guidance, our receptionists are on duty 24 hours a day. 1
Welcome and reception Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport There are no steps in the main lobby area. The hotel has a lift to access all floors The front desk is to your right as you enter from the main hotel entrance. To your right is also the main bar and lounge. Beyond this area you will find the buffet area for breakfast There is a work hub on the right as you enter the main entrance of the hotel. The surface of the foyer is mixture of wooden flooring with carpet along the bedroom corridors. Check-in is at the main reception desk, which is 1 meter high however there is a lower section on the right hand side. 2
The induction loop is at the check-in point, to the right-hand side of the reception desk. The Hotel operates a system of PEEPs (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans). On check-in to the Hotel, you will be offered the opportunity to discuss and outline any special requirements or assistance you may need should an evacuation of the Hotel be necessary as a result of a fire or other emergency. We can provide a large-print copy of the registration card if you ask. Other services Every guest room has a guest directory that contains information about the facilities in the hotel. For extra help to use this directory, please contact a team member. For any extra information you may need, please ask at reception, where the team will be more than happy to help you. Toilet facilities There are public toilets directly in front of you as you enter the main entrance to the hotel, including a fully accessible facility. Hotel shop If you have forgotten anything please contact reception who will be able to help and provide essential toiletries. You may have to pay for these. Getting round the hotel The hotel has three floors of bedroom corridors, all well-lit and carpeted. All are fully accessible via the lifts on the ground floor, to the right of the reception desk. 3
Bar and lounge The bar and lounge is located in the main lobby. The whole area is level. Toilet facilities are at the front entrance to the hotel. There is a mixture of wooden surfaces and carpet throughout. We can provide menus in large print if needed. Livingwell express gym We have a fitness room on the ground floor to the left of the main entrance. The fitness room has surveillance cameras, which are monitored by reception. To get into the fitness room, you must use your bedroom key The floor in the gym is linoleum and the gym apparatus is accessible for wheelchair users. We provide towels when you enter the gym. We also provide a water dispenser. Our staff are available to provide advice at reception at all times. Bedrooms There are 11 accessible rooms, 3 on each floor and 2 on ground level. 4
All accessible rooms have grab rails around the toilet, a low level sink and an emergency pull cord Enhanced hearing facilities: A text phone and a TV loop system is available via request prior to arrival. Your room will have a chair at the desk and a comfy chair. If you need more space in your room, we can remove any of these items. Please contact either reservations, before your stay, or reception once you have arrived at the hotel, to arrange for furniture to be moved. In an emergency The Hotel operates a system of PEEPs (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans). On check-in to the Hotel, you will be offered the opportunity to discuss and outline any special requirements or assistance you may need should an evacuation of the Hotel be necessary as a result of a fire or other emergency. You will be given a copy of this Emergency Evacuation Plan and we will keep a copy for our Hotel Fire Team to refer to in case of an evacuation taking place during your stay. 5
The Plan will specify which of our Team Members will be designated to assist you, should you require this.
