Welcome About our Camp Each week, children ages 5-12 jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers expand their horizons, embark on new adventures, and most importantly have fun. Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. Crew X Students entering grades 5-6 have an opportunity to apply for Crew X, an extreme camp leadership experience. This group of up to 14 students participates in extreme field trips including zip lining, parkour, rock climbing, and more. They also host charitable community events, complete service learning projects, and mentor younger campers. If you re looking for the ultimate action and leadership experience to keep your student active and engaged this summer, this is the camp for you! Only students enrolled 5 days per week are eligible to apply. Crew X members will be announced in May. Those campers accepted into Crew X will be charged an additional one-time activity fee of $120 at the start of summer camp. Activity Blocks Invention Convention Calling all inventors! We know our campers have big ideas and we want to see them in action. Invention Convention will focus on brainstorming, designing and sharing invention ideas. Digital Vision Campers explore the tools necessary to capture great images and videos, and refine them through digital imaging. Minute to Win It Campers will get a thrill from working together to complete fun, and sometimes silly, tasks all before time runs out on the clock. Ready, set, go! Express Yourself Let your hidden talents shine! Campers develop creativity and confidence through singing, dancing, acting and more. Rise Up Dream it. Build it. Wreck it. Repeat! Campers build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, while exploring fundamental principles of engineering and physics. Domino Tricks The game of dominoes is fun, but we have a little twist in store for our campers. We are challenging campers to come up with their best domino toppling tricks. Recycled Beautifully Our campers will see how one person's trash can be another person's treasure by turning recycled materials into beautiful and useful items. STEAM Academy Challenging and fun projects encourage collaboration, decision making, and innovation. Students work together to solve problems, while developing a love of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Leave a Legacy Campers learn about how they can be heroes in their communities, and find creative ways to give back to those in need. Game Changer We hope our campers are ready for some good old fashioned fun. They ll have a blast building their skills in a variety of indoor and outdoor games. Food for Thought Campers learn kitchen fundamentals and culinary techniques as they slip on their aprons and create yummy snacks. They'll be a master chef in no time! Payment Policy: A deposit equal to your tuition is required at time of enrollment to hold your reservation. The deposit will be applied to your camper s final week of camp. Enchanted Care Kids Campus Summer Camp Reminders On the calendar, D = departure time and R = estimated return time. Plan to arrive at the center at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If you miss the bus, you miss the trip. Care is not available at the center for students not attending the field trip. Calendar is subject to change. If dates or times must change, you will be provided with written notice. All students need to wear closed-toe shoes with backs everyday. For safety reasons, flip-flops are not permitted. Students are responsible for all of their own items on field trips. Wear your camp shirt for all field trips, except swimming trips, as denoted on the calendar by. To purchase an additional shirt, please see Katie. On days with swimming or water activities (denoted by ) please make sure your child brings a towel, swimsuit, water shoes, and an extra change of clothes. Morning snack is available from 8:00-8:30AM daily. Please keep an extra change of clothes in your child s locker at all times. We will provide sunscreen at a cost of $10 per full-time camper or $5 per part-time camper for the summer (see attached permission slip). If your child has an allergy or skin sensitivity, please see Katie. Please apply sunscreen to your child prior to morning drop-off. We will re-apply at least every 4 hours or more often as needed. Enchanted Care Kids Campus Summer Camp Permission Slip I have received a copy of the summer calendar that includes the dates, times and locations of the planned field trips. I understand that if I do not give permission for my child to attend a particular trip, I will have to keep my child home because there will be no alternate care available at the Center. I give my permission for my child to go on summer field trips organized and supervised by Enchanted Care Kids Campus staff and parent volunteers as listed on the monthly fieldtrip calendar. I understand that transportation will be provided by Enchanted Care staff in company owned vehicles. I, the undersigned, hereby release ECLC and its employees and chaperones acting on behalf of Enchanted Care, from any liability, sickness or loss of personal property. My child has permission to go swimming during summer camp. It is understood that my child will be accompanied by staff members of Enchanted Care and will be swimming at pools honoring the requirements for adequate trained lifeguard staffing. In addition, Enchanted Care will maintain or exceed the staff to child ratios prescribed by the state of Ohio for the supervision of School Age Children as required. I, the undersigned, release ECLC and its employees and chaperones acting on behalf of Enchanted Care, from any liability, sickness or loss of personal property while on swimming outings.
