Tours Hidden London tours began in 2010 when we opened Aldwych disused station to the public HIGHGATE We now run over 400 tours a year across six venues and plan to offer more venues in the future Our programme in 2018 offers visitors the chance to venture into Churchill s secret bunker, visit the warren of tunnels used to house Caribbean migrants who arrived on SS Windrush, explore labyrinths of deserted passageways preserved as the last customers saw them 50 years ago, climb to the top of London s first skyscraper, and discover the wilderness of disused tracks DOWN STREET CLAPHAM SOUTH Hidden London tours are extremely popular and in high demand with tickets selling out instantly in each 7,500 batch release Hidden London is a London Transport Museum brand and the Museum has exclusive access to these locations and ownership of all IP CHARING CROSS EUSTON We are planning to significantly expand our facilities and offer at Clapham South to include year-round access, venue hire and cafe facilities 55 BROADWAY
Exhibition The Hidden London Exhibition will get under the skin of London s transport system to give visitors privileged access to its inner workings and secret stories, past and present The exhibition will be accessible to everyone, allowing 400,000 visitors to the Museum to experience the thrills of Hidden London The exhibition will be an even more behind the scenes experience than the tours: visitors will see, hear, feel and smell fullsize recreations of real spaces as they were, including the wartime cabinet dining room from Churchill s secret bunker at Down Street we will uncover the truths behind some of London s myths and fables enjoy never before seen then and now photography
Events Talks and lectures on specialist subjects and sites that are inaccessible to the public Specialist tours run by visiting experts focusing on new stories and details such as tile tours, photography highlights and vintage advertising Film screenings in LTM theatre and disused stations Friday Lates fun adult only evenings at LTM with themed activities, drinks and music Additional special events e.g. Hidden London Halloween week with spooky screenings, ghost walks and scary storytelling
