There s no denying that summer camp is a magical place. From resident and day camp to off-season events and rentals, Five Rivers Council, BSA operates the area s absolute best in year-round, safe and affordable, high-quality facilities for individual, unit and private events. Camp Gorton on Waneta Lake in New York s Finger Lakes Camp Brule Adventure Outpost in remote Forksville, PA Day camps throughout the Twin Tiers region Off season events and rentals Regardless of where you choose to host your adventure, one thing is certain. Once the bathing suits dry, the paint washes off, and the smell of camp fire is gone, you and your child will always have the memories, friends and experience-based character that can only come from a trip to camp. Cub Scout Day Camp Day Camp is an adventure open to all Cub Scouts. Sessions run Monday through Thursday in parks central to the four districts. Scouts will participate in a wide variety of activities including games, crafts, BB gun safety, and archery shooting, and some camps include fishing and swimming. Day Camp is more fun when you come with your Den, so start planning now for next summer s adventure! /camping/cub-scout-day-camp Cub Scout Adventure Camp Cub Scout Adventure Camp is an overnight (resident) experience open to all Cub Scouts and features specific programming by rank. Tigers will follow the same adventure track, while second year Webelos enjoy the hilltop outpost experience. With a new theme each summer, everyone will have an amazing and memorable time. Past themes have included Space, Pirates, Olympics, Old West and Knights in Armor. /camping/cub-scout-adventure-camp-overnight

Camp Brulé Hidden in the hills of Sullivan County, PA, this rugged outpost is far from most things, and that s just the way we like it! This high adventure base camp is centered around Elk Lake and offers an exceptional array of outdoor (and indoor) amenities, including: High ropes course Hiking trails Shooting range Waterfront for boating, fishing and swimming Secluded campsites and lakeside campfire ring Explorable adjacent State lands and waterways Programming can be customized for any type and size group. A few of our favorite activities include, team-building, Brulé survivor, wilderness survival, search and rescue, climbing and rappelling, biathlons, first aid and CPR training, canoeing/kayaking, and retreats. For those who would prefer to watch the action from the porch or beside a large stone fireplace, a number of buildings offer the comforts of home, including the 200+ seat Dining Hall. Camp Gorton Nestled amongst the larger Finger Lakes, Camp Gorton on Waneta Lake in Dundee, NY offers one of the Countries largest waterfronts. With over 300 acres to explore and a shooting range second to none, you can always find something fun to do! Campership Applications While the Scout camp experience is one of the most affordable options available to parents, Scouts facing particular financial hardship may need support. This is why Five Rivers Council offers camping scholarships, or Camperships. Campership applications are available for all registered Scouts who live within the Five Rivers Council who have a financial need. Funding for up to half the early bird fee may be available. Contact the Scout Shop for applications and information. Camp Staff Opportunities One of the best ways to maximize the camp experience is to stay all summer as a staff member. Youth at least 15 years old (by June 1st) and adults 18 years of age or older are welcome to apply for a position by filling out the staff application found on /camping or by contacting the Camp office directly. Off-Season Activities Camp Brulé and Camp Gorton facilities are available year-round for unit, District and Council level scouting activities. Contact the Scout Shop for pricing and availability.
