Andi, Lutherlyn s Development Director, will be available to answer questions. Camp Tours Tours will depart from the Dining Hall Porch at 1:00 and 2:30. Visit a cabin, the Environmental Education Center, Health Hut (with a camp nurse ready to answer questions), Store, Dining Hall, Pool, Craft Cabin, and Recreation/Education Building. There will be a camp nurse at the Health Hut from noon-4pm. If you would like to ask specific questions, feel free to stop at the Health Hut and talk with the nurse. If you would like to see a cabin, cabin Locust is open. All of the main camp cabins are laid out the same on the inside. Bathrooms Bathrooms are located in the Dining Hall (both sides), Stewart Center, Environmental Education Center, and in the little building in front of the Environmental Education Center. There is a porta-john at the Equestrian Center and at the boathouse. Camp Map A map of camp is on the back of this booklet.

Lutherlyn Equestrian Center The Lutherlyn Equestrian Center has an Indoor Riding Arena that allows Lutherlyn to offer riding lessons and programs YEAR-ROUND. The store is on the front porch of the office building in the corner of the parking lot. Games & Activities Noon-4:00pm GaGa Ball GaGa Ball is a camper favorite! The Outdoor GaGa court is near the basketball court and indoor GaGa is in the Education/ Recreation Building. Stop by either for a FUN game! Archery The Archery Range is in the field near Lower Lake. Archers must be 4th grade or older. No experience necessary. Bouldering Room Bouldering is like rock climbing except you climb horizontally instead of vertically. That means no harnesses, no heights, and no age restrictions. Everyone is welcome to give it a try in the Education/Recreation Building! Cargo Net & ZipLine The High Ropes Course and 860 foot Zipline are a camper favorite! The course is located in the woods near the Amphitheater. Must be 7th grade or older, less than 250 pounds, and wearing closed-toe shoes (no sandals). Everyone is welcome to watch. Due to the popularity of this activity, we have tickets available for participants with a time on them. Pick up a ticket at the High Ropes Course* and then return at the time on your ticket. Tickets are limited and distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis starting at noon. Craft Cabin Visit the Craft Cabin to make a FREE craft! Lawn Games A variety of games are located all around the lawn in front of the Dining Hall. Ladder Golf, Horse Shoes, Checkers, & Tic Tac Toe. Corn Hole is on the porch of Rice Hall. Low ZipLine The low zipline is located near the Basketball and Outdoor GaGa courts for our younger campers who are between 4 & 5 feet tall and less than 150 pounds. Tractor Drawn Hay Rides Departing every half hour from the road by the picnic tables on the far side of the Dining Hall. Indoor Corn Hole & 4-Square The Education/Recreation Building is a favorite rainy day recreation space. Stop by to play! Canoeing & Kayaking A lifeguard is at Brotherhood (Lower) Lake ready for you to paddle the lake in a canoe or kayak. Kayakers must be 7th grade or older. Games & Activities Noon-4:00pm S Mores What s a visit to camp without roasting a marshmallow or making a S More? At the fire circle next to Dining Hall. (Rice Hall is rain location.) Biking From noon-3:30 bikes are available on the porch of the Recreation/Education Building to sign-out for 30 minutes and ride around main camp. A staff member is there to review some safety instructions with you before your ride and to fit you for a helmet. Must be 7th grade or older. Blacksmithing Visit the Woodland Forge for a blacksmithing demonstration by our friend, Flavius. Day Camp Activities Pre-School and Elementary age campers are invited to join us for some special activities: 1:00 Parachute Games (in the lawn next to the dining hall, near the flag pole) 2:00 Nature Activity (at the Environmental Ed. Center) Fishing Come to Upper Lake to cast out your line and try your hand at fishing. All fishing at Lutherlyn is catch & release. Hiking Lutherlyn has 17 miles of hiking trails. If you would like to hike the trails today pick up a trail map in the Stewart Center or join one of the guided hikes led by our Environmental Education staff. Make-it-Take-it Project Visit the Woodland Quilters in the Fireside Room of the Dining Hall to make a special project. Rocket Launch Rocketry is a popular summer camp program. Come to the field at the Shaulis Village (near Wallace Hall) from 2:30-3:00 to watch Amanda & George launch rockets. Kids will have the opportunity to operate the launch pad and chase/catch the rockets. Closing Campfire We will all gather together next to the Dining Hall at 4:00 for a closing campfire.
