Kairankutsu Call of the Wilderness Hi, all friends of Lappish nature and culture Kairankutsu was founded around the PYHÄ-LUOSTO National Park 17 April 2012. Our values and tours are based on the unique Lappish nature and culture. We organize various nature tours such as nature observation tours, bird tours, hiking/snowshoetrekking tours, fishing/ice-fishing tours, boat and canoe tours and culture tours to name a few. Some of our tours take us to the magnificent historical riverside villages of Lapland; villages Suvanto, Pyhajarvi, Kairala, Luiro and Pelkosenniemi. On many of our tours you also get to see reindeer in their natural habitat. Eero Fisk Sami people and their history and culture have an interesting and fascinating role on our tours as well as the 2,4 billion year old Fell area of Pyhä-Luosto. Its geology becomes familiar as we tell stories around campfire and serve black pot of cofee and roasted sausages. We customize tours according to the client's wishes f.ex. The farm is only 15 minutes from Luosto and 20 minutes away from Pyhä. Tour 9. Tour de Culture If you are interested about Lappish Culture, history of Samí people and Lappish people, beautiful old villages and traditional architectures this is the tour for You. Vaihdetaanko kuva? app. 3-4 hours We'll visit in the SUVANTO village (that wasn't destroyed in WWII). After this we will continue in to the Pyhäjärvi village. Scenery from that village is one of the best places to see the fells and the Nationalpark.
