ABOUT THE CONFERENCE The Eleventh International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds will be held April 8-12, 2018, in Palm Springs, California. Battelle s Chlorinated Conference is the premier meeting, with the most comprehensive overview, on the application of innovative technologies and approaches for characterization, monitoring and management of chlorinated and complex sites. The 2018 Conference will be another outstanding opportunity for the environmental remediation community to meet, learn, and network with the best-of-the-best in science, engineering, consulting, and regulation from universities, state-and-federal government agencies, R&D, and manufacturing firms from around the world. 2016 Conference Highlights The 2016 Chlorinated Conference was one of extraordinary growth and was attended by more than 1,660 environmental professionals from 28 countries. Our largest technical program in Chlorinated Conference history was conducted with nearly 900 platform talks and posters presented in 71 breakout sessions and 10 panel discussions. We were also pleased to host more than 100 Exhibitors, another record, over the length of the program. CONFERENCE VENUE & HOTELS The Conference technical program will be conducted at the Palm Springs Convention Center (PSCC) and room blocks will be available at the adjoining Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel and nearby Hilton Palm Springs Hotel. Information on room rates and reservation options will be available in May 2017. The PSCC, managed by SMG Worldwide, participates in a comprehensive environmental program designed to utilize best practices in water conservation, energy efficiency, waste diversion, and air quality. SMG s Green IMPACT Program (which stands for innovation, mindfulness, participation, accountability, consistency and transparency) supports green and sustainable practices at its conference facilities worldwide. The in-house catering partner, Savoury s, utilizes biodegradable products, locally grown food, and donates excess food to local assistance programs. It also participates in the City of Palm Springs pilot composting program.

Cancellations received by January 1, 2018, will result in a 50% refund; no refunds will be made for cancellations after January 1, 2018. Space Limitations. Organizations are limited to one 10x10, one 10x20 (no endcaps), or one 20x20 island booth space. The products or services to be exhibited must be pertinent to the technical scope and purpose of the Conference. As the agent for Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle), The Scientific Consulting Group, Inc. (SCG) will review all booth space reservations and reserves the right to rearrange the floor plan and/or to relocate any exhibit to further the best interests of the Conference. Use of Space. No Exhibitor will be permitted to display outside the confines of the assigned exhibit space. Sharing or subletting of exhibit space is prohibited. To ensure an unobstructed view of neighboring exhibits, back walls of 10 x10 and 10 x20, booths cannot be high er than 8 feet, and side walls must terminate 3 feet from the back wall for all booths. Side wall pipe and drape cannot be moved or removed. The reverse sides of end wing panels must be covered or painted if they are visible in adjacent booths. Pipe and drape will not be provided for 20x20 island booths and is prohibited to ensure adequate line-of-sight in the Hall. Hospitality. All requests for a hospitality suite or public function space must be made through SCG. Exhibitor-sponsored food and beverage is prohibited in individual booths. Copyrighted Material & Use of Logo. It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain appropriate copyright releases for use of any type of copyrighted material (e.g., publications, graphics) during the Conference.
