Shalom Camp Families, Camp Shalom We had a great second week of camp! Some highlights included the Boulder s Climbing Wall, a magician, and the extra loud ruach (spirit) at Maccabia! We also worked hard to stay cool on those extra hot days by playing water games, swimming lots, and watching a movie. We can t wait to continue this momentum into our final week! Just a reminder there will be NO buses in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 27 h. Please refer to the latenight bus schedule for updated pick-up times the morning of Thursday, July 28 th. Gimel campers do NOT have camp on Thursday, July 28 th since they have the option to sleep over on Wednesday. They will go home on the buses Thursday morning and be dropped off at their normal stops, as Aleph and Bet campers are getting picked up. Gimel campers should bring the following: a sleeping bag, pillow, PJs, an extra change of clothes, swimsuit and towel, flashlight, toothbrush, toothpaste, and other toiletries they wish to have. Please NO snacks! Breakfast will be provided in the morning. If your camper needs to take medication before bed or in the morning, please send the medication in the original packaging with an Authorization form, which can be found on our website. Aleph and Bet campers will have a special day participating in fun Olympics themed activities on Thursday. Normal bus drop-off times resume in the afternoon. It s hard to believe second session is coming to an end. We ve had an amazing time this summer, and will cherish the friendships and memories we have made.
