At the Grove Park Inn Conference, Exhibitor & Sponsor Registration No doubt the Omni Grove Park Inn, Sunset Mountain, and the peak of the Fall Foliage season conjures up visions of the perfect vacation aesthetics, opulence, amenities, and access to a variety of activities and recreation facilities. One could dismiss this Conference as a luxury, but to do so would totally discount the reason for the existence of our organization. The appropriate role of NUCA of the Carolinas is to assist our members to continue to succeed... and that will be the primary purpose for our meeting in Asheville. NUCA of the Carolinas members can legitimately share with their employees, that they, as a leader in the Underground Utility Construction Industry, must attend the Fall Conference to continue to work on ways and means to continue to improve our industry. Accommodations Since our time at the Grove Park Inn is scheduled during the peak fall season, rooms allotted were limited. Unfortunately, the room block is currently full. If you have not reserved your room yet, you will need to book it outside of the NUCA room block by calling 800-438-5800 OR you will need to reserve a room at another hotel in Asheville. I can suggest the following that are close by the Grove Park: The Renaissance, Hotel Indigo, Hyatt Place, or AC Hotel (Marriott) opening August 2017. Reservations for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights and for Spa appointments at the Grove Park must be made in advance by calling 800-438-5800. Dress Business casual is acceptable dress for most Conference activities at the Grove Park Inn. Logo wear is encouraged for our education sessions and the Welcome Reception. Collared shirts, slacks and soft spikes for golf. Jackets and ties and dinner dresses are encouraged for the President s Reception and the Awards Banquet on Saturday evening Tickets & Badges for Events Each registrant will receive two drink tickets for use at the Welcome Reception on Thursday night. Only registered attendees will receive drink tickets. For those registered to attend the President s Reception and Awards Banquet, an additional two drink tickets will be inserted into your name badge sleeve. A red dot on your name badge will indicate that you have registered/paid for the Saturday evening Banquet Dinner. Seating is limited to our registered attendees and guests. Please wear your name badge to all events.
