Reservation and Payment: Passengers must provide their full name, D.O.B., phone number, email, and their fare. Payment is due in full by the end of March 2011. Thereafter remaining seats will be released on a first pay, first seat basis through May 2011. Other Benefits and Considerations: Open to brothers, family, ladies, etc. at large, i.e. this is not limited to metro area brothers only. Cost effective method of travel to the Centennial Conclave from beginning to end. Passengers must provide their full name, D.O.B., phone number, email, and their fare. You can mail your payment, payable to Eta Omega Chapter, to P.O. Box 50521, Atlanta, GA 30302. Can I purchase a one way ticket? This fare covers a round trip ticket only. How do I get my ticket? All you need is your valid ID and to arrive on time. We will have a group list the conductor will check once onboard. Can I pay in installments? Payment in full is requested. When is the last day to pay? March 30, 2011 is the due date for a guaranteed seat on the train. May 31, 2011 is the final date payments will be accepted. Will transportation be available to and from? Passengers are responsible for transportation to and from the train station. Eta Omega is pursuing a shuttle service from the train station to the host hotel(s) in Washington DC, however not guaranteed. What time do I need to be there? Passengers should arrive at the train station a minimum of one hour prior to departure. The train will not wait for you. Please be on time! What are the seating arrangements? We will have coach seats which are big, comfortable reclining seats, have fold down trays, individual reading lamps, and ample legroom ~ 2 ~

Beds/sleeping accommodations are not included in this group. Beds are offered on the sleeping cars and would require you personally booking on your own. Is food or drinks included in the price? This fare covers the train transportation only. There will be a Lounge Car and a Bar Car where you can purchase food and drinks. Lounge, Dinette, Cafe and Snack Cars: Informal Dining Options On many trains not offering formal Dining Car service, food service is often available in Lounge, Dinette, Cafe, and Snack Cars from early morning to late evening. Hours of operation vary depending on train operation. On these cars, Amtrak offer a variety of carry out style foods, including soups and salads, beverages, pizza, sandwiches, and other snacks. On some trains, ready to go tray meals are available. Credit cards (MasterCard, American Express, Visa and Discover) are accepted for payment in Cafe Cars on all trains that offer food service. Seating for Meals and Socializing Lounge and Cafe Cars provide roomy tables and comfortable, casual seating for enjoying your meals, writing, playing a hand of cards or a board game, or just sharing time with friends, family and new acquaintances. Onboard Entertainment Typically, any onboard entertainment offered on your train takes place in the train's Lounge Car. Accessibility On some long distance trains, people using wheelchairs may transfer to and from the Lounge Car at appropriate station stops; ask your onboard service attendant to make the necessary arrangements. ~ 3 ~
Can I bring my own food or beverages on the train? Personal Food and Beverages: Bring your food aboard You may bring your own food and beverages onboard for consumption at your seat or private Sleeping Car accommodations. However, you can only consume food and beverages purchased in Dining and Lounge Cars in those cars. Personal food and beverages are allowed in the upper level of Superliner Sightseer Lounges. Federal health regulations prohibit Amtrak personnel from handling your food, heating it in our ovens, or storing it in our refrigerators. Planning for contingencies Unfortunately, trains are sometimes delayed and food supplies may become limited. If you have special dietary requirements, or a condition such as diabetes, we suggest that you carry sufficient food with you to meet your needs in the event of a delay or other contingency. Alcoholic Beverages Beverage service We serve alcoholic beverages onboard trains in most Dining, Lounge and Cafe Cars. Private stock You may bring aboard your own private stock of alcoholic beverages subject to the following limitations: You may consume private stock alcoholic beverages only in Sleeping Car accommodations for which you have a valid ticket. You may not consume private stock alcoholic beverages in any public areas. What baggage can I bring on the train? Are there any baggage restrictions? Baggage: Identification must be securely attached to each item. Carry on luggage is now limited to two pieces of baggage per passenger, even if checked baggage service is not available. No item of carry on baggage may exceed the following limits. Job Corps photo ID Eta Omega Chapter Random Ticket/ID Checks Following federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines, we regularly conduct random ticket verification checks onboard trains to ensure that passengers are properly ticketed. Please be prepared to show valid photo identification to a member of the onboard crew upon request. Can I bring medication on board? Medication Bring it with you If you anticipate requiring medication en route, please carry it with you aboard your train. Do not pack your medication in checked baggage, or leave it packed in your car on the Auto Train, as you will not have access to your checked bags or vehicle during your journey. We can supply ice for your cooler/container to keep medication cool. Is smoking allowed on the train? Amtrak Smoking and Non Smoking Policies All Amtrak trains, Thruway buses and stations are entirely non smoking except for the Auto Train. On Auto Train, passengers may smoke only in a designated, enclosed smoking room located on the lower level of the Lounge Car. If such a car is not on a train due to an equipment substitution, then that entire train is non smoking. Passengers may smoke on station platforms at longer stops as announced by train crews. Passengers must remain next to the train, ready to re board immediately upon hearing the sound of the locomotive horn and the "all aboard" calls from Amtrak employees. Smoking stops may be shortened or eliminated entirely if the train is operating late. State or local laws may prohibit smoking on station platforms. ~ 6 ~
