RADIANT LINE BURNER. SECTION I-1. Type: 1812-AC. Manufactured from a heat resisting cast alloy with a ceramic front face, this radiant burner type is ideally suited for use in Infrared Heating production processes. As a robust Industrial burner it is easily controlled and is assembled from replaceable components to ensure a long and efficient operating life. The burner is also available with a lightweight pressed steel body. It is used for low temperature processes under 250 deg. C and for some applications where the overall weight needs to be reduced to simplify the burner and any mounting bracket positions The open-ended type gives reliable cross ignition when burners are mounted in a line arrangement or where a long and continuous heating system is needed. Applications include: Conveyor belt and web heating. Glass preheating and annealing systems. Powder coating and curing ovens. Bake ovens. Rapid metal heating. General-purpose use in low temperature ovens and heating plant. A range of add on components is available including electrodes and brackets for automatic spark ignition and flame detection. Cat. RADIANT CUP BURNER. SECTION I-3 Type: Ceramic Cup. The outer casing is manufactured from either Cast Iron or pressed steel and is designed to retain a high temperature ceramic cup. The burner operates with a pressure air and gas mixture that combusts fully within the inner concave area of the cup. This produces a radiant and convective heating effect for efficient rapid heating of most materials. Radiant cup burners are available in a range of sizes, cup shape and protective casings. A stainless steel or ceramic flame spreader tip screws into the cup; its size dictates the burner rating and the type of fuel gas. Replacement cups and flame spreader tips can be easily interchanged for periodic maintenance. This ensures a consistent heating effect and also extends the operating life cycle of the burner.
