Welcome to a place where laughter abounds, where friendships are formed, where everyone is welcome, and where each day brings new opportunities to celebrate Jewish life. Welcome to Ramah Darom, the Ramah of the South. Since 1997, we have watched children grow from timid first-time campers into confident young adults who are now becoming leaders in their own communities. Ramah Darom is a place where children have fun, learn new skills, gain independence and build lifelong friendships. In this space, campers from the Southeast join together with staff members from around the United States and Israel to create an exceptional Jewish community. I look forward to meeting your camper this summer and becoming your partner in nurturing their growth. See you at Ramah Darom! Escape the heat of the city and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Just two hours from Atlanta, Georgia, Camp Ramah Darom is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. Here, we bring together a diverse community of talented, experienced staff, offer outstanding athletics and arts programs, and infuse a love of Israeli culture and Jewish heritage into everything we do. Our beautiful 122-acre campus, state-ofthe-art facility, modern cabins, and delicious kosher food are the backdrop to a summer of laughter and learning, friendship and fun. Ramah Darom is an inclusive environment that feels like home.
