VINTAGE BIRD CHAPTER SEEKS VOLUNTEERS Do you have an hour or so per week that you could share with the Vintage Bird Chapter? If so, read on. If not, leave the work to others and continue to enjoy the benefits of being a Vintage Bird member. WOW!!! How s that for a gilt trip? Do you have expertise in marketing, recruitment, writing, organizational skills? Can you use a computer? Can you talk on a phone (without chewing gum)? Would you share your expertise in a particular field, perhaps something related to a hobby or your field of employment? Are you a good cook? Do you like to entertain? Do you have knowledge or experience maintaining and repairing coaches? Are you willing to assist with minor coach repairs at rallies? Are you a computer guru? Can you operate a dish tv system? If your answer to any question above is yes, and you are willing to work (notice, the word is work, not serve), you are in luck! If you could not find a question to which you can answer yes, then we forgot to ask the right question. There is a Vintage Bird activity waiting for your help. Interested? 2012 Hershey Schedule of Events The following schedule is an "optional" list of activities. Attendees are free to participate in all, some or none of the events below. Monday, October 8- Early arrivals begin parking after 10AM. Arrival and setup with snacks, and light sandwiches provided around 12 PM. Columbian Feast the Hershey Italian Lodge. Tuesday, October 9-10 AM visit to Roots Country Market in Lancaster. Lunch at one of the market vendors or a picnic lunch- your choice. Visit to Lititz and the Wilbur Chocolate Company in Lancaster County. Dinner & Slots at the Hollywood Casino in Grantville, PA around 5 PM. Wednesday, October 10th- Donuts and Coffee at camp from 7 to 9 AM. Car Corral and flea market opens at 7 AM. The entire day is open. Evening event is a Wine and Cheese happy hour at the camp around 6 PM followed by a fish fry. This is probably one of the better days to visit the car show and get the "lay of the land" Thursday, October 11th- Coffee & Bagels for Breakfast around 9 AM. Tours of the Antique Car & Bus museum around 10:30. Lunch in downtown Hershey or back at camp. Tour of the PA Capitol Building in the afternoon. Dinner at Fire Alley restaurant in Hershey. Friday, October 12th- Spa Day for the Ladies at the Hotel Hershey (spa reservations needed by August 1st). For those not going to the Spa, we will have a morning bicycle workshop and ride on the Hershey bike trail. Car Show visits and car corral all day. Smoked Brisket and Rib Dinner at 6 PM (bring a salad or side dish). Saturday, October 13th- Breakfast provided with Bacon, Eggs, Homemade Oatmeal, pastries and coffee. Coach tours and/or troubleshooting in the afternoon. Guided historic trolley tour of Hershey in the afternoon. 6 PM community potluck dinner. Sunday, October 14th- Easy, free morning with off-site church service at 11:00 AM (optional, of course). Cleanup of rally site and final departures by 6 PM.

FMCA DUES To remain a member in good standing of Vintage Birds both Chapter and FMCA By Laws require that dues be current. The next annual audit is in July. IF YOUR FMCA DUES ARE NOT CURRENT the Chapter has no alternative but to cancel your Vintage Bird membership even though your Vintage Bird dues are current or even paid ahead. There is no refund of Chapter dues paid in advance if membership is cancelled. Reinstatement to Vintage Birds requires a new Membership Application and payment of the $30 initiation fee that includes dues for the remainder of the year.
