SOLE TRUENO ERGO-PREDATOR TPU+PU: Trueno Safety is the first Spanish footwear manufacturer, with the state of the art technology in footwear molding injection, that allows TPU+PU (Compact Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Expanded polyurethane) injected directly onto the upper section. By this manufacturing system of Direct Injection onto the upper part, the sole remains molten and filtered all over the leather pores and the midsole, making a single compact piece. This system has three main advantages over other manufacturing systems. - The sole cannot be detached from the upper part, as there is no bonding material acting as agent between sole and upper. Adhesives may react or decompose facing excessive cold or heat. - Cannot be unstitched as we do not use thread to sew together the sole and the upper. Threads may burn facing flames or break by cuts or long lasting abrasions. - There is no empty gaps inside the sole, which water might fill or materials cost saving as happens in pre-manufactured soles and glued In addition, the sole is made of two layers of different density. As both layers are injected simultaneously in a semi liquid phase the bonding between layers is perfect. Bonding between layers is a chemical reaction, so there is no need of preliminary treatments, adhesives use or other textiles as bonding materials.
